For tractors it will depend on how they last/hold up over a long period of time and how much they cost. On tractors that run in mud and small debris I wonder how they perform when filled full of dried dirt.

They make tweels for tractors or are you pulling our leg? I'm not very knowledgeable on the subject, but have only seen them on zero turn mowers.

They don't go flat. Supposedly they have better traction and don't mess up turf as bad and a few other claims like lasting longer, better hillside performance.

I am right there with you, had no idea tweels for a tractor were a thing or would ever be a thing but here's some pictures. Will get some after they are mounted on a tractor. They are heavier than a normal wheel and tire but probably still need a ballast box to do any real FEL work. Curious how they will hold up in such an application. They are 12N-16.5 Michelin tweels

Zero turns tear up the grass something fierce, they cut the grass at work this morning and there are marks all over. They grind the grass right off and you are left with dirt on the grass and bare patches all over.Looks like garbage.

The statement I put in bold is caused by operator not knowing his equipment!

Wonder if we see them on tractors someday, or they have them already?
I had no idea what a Tweel was. Now do after reading this thread.

What is the advantage for a tractor application over foam filled tires? Foam filled tires will be heavier which is good for tractor stability and will never go flat.

Very popular in upstate New York. Even use em on riding lawnmowers.
