That looks cool. Don’t think my 1880 would pull that heavy beast. If I get another tractor, a B would be on my list. Maybe a L.
That brand is Farm King. Landpride makes a 64" inverted 20-55 HP which may also be too large.
Inverted blowers generally tend to require a larger tractor per inch of snowblower as opposed to a unit that one pushes into the snow, either front mounted or traditional rear-mounted. If the snow is wet and sticky the tires compact it into two humps of near-ice material that's hard to remove. Plus you still have to look back to make sure your snow discharge is going in a safe direction.
I have had absolutely no humps left behind. The weight of the blower following cleans it right down.
Looked up a 54 inch. A little over 4 grand. Too much for my blood. I would go rear push if I would get one and deal with the neck pain. A bit cheaper. But with the lack of snow these past years, my rear blade is doing pretty good. Just need to get a front blade of same size as my 3 point.
That's the same here. The lack of snow in the past few yrs makes investing in snow removal equipment for personal use hard to do. And nothing ever drops in price.
Your bigger tractors allow you to pull a bigger, heavier blower and to have more traction. I've seen the smaller (compact, sub-compact) tractors struggle with having sufficient traction to remove the compacted icy ridges.
