That looks cool. Don’t think my 1880 would pull that heavy beast. If I get another tractor, a B would be on my list. Maybe a L.
That brand is Farm King. Landpride makes a 64" inverted 20-55 HP which may also be too large.
Wifo equipment makes a wide range of inverted blowers as small as 46 inch, 10-20 HP.

Inverted blowers generally tend to require a larger tractor per inch of snowblower as opposed to a unit that one pushes into the snow, either front mounted or traditional rear-mounted. If the snow is wet and sticky the tires compact it into two humps of near-ice material that's hard to remove. Plus you still have to look back to make sure your snow discharge is going in a safe direction.

For BX and B-series tractors the front-mounted blower is king of the hill. I have three of them and will never go back. (Pun intended!)

I have had absolutely no humps left behind. The weight of the blower following cleans it right down.

Looked up a 54 inch. A little over 4 grand. Too much for my blood. I would go rear push if I would get one and deal with the neck pain. A bit cheaper. But with the lack of snow these past years, my rear blade is doing pretty good. Just need to get a front blade of same size as my 3 point.

That's the same here. The lack of snow in the past few yrs makes investing in snow removal equipment for personal use hard to do. And nothing ever drops in price.

Your bigger tractors allow you to pull a bigger, heavier blower and to have more traction. I've seen the smaller (compact, sub-compact) tractors struggle with having sufficient traction to remove the compacted icy ridges.

8I have absolutely no problem with my 68" M K Martin rear pull snowblower scraping the tire tracks clear.

I run a rear mounted blower and use the loader bucket when needed as there are areas i cannot access with the blower. Put a soft cab on a few years ago with electric heat.Went with the electric as I really id not want to mess with the plumbing aspect and there is not a lot of extra room for a water based heater.
I also upgraded the charging system for a second heater but haven't needed it yet.
Our snow have bee milder than years back when i can remember running out of places to put the accumulating snow. The blower gets it far enough away it doesn't pile up as it did with the blade

NEWS FLASH.....Just spoke w/my dealer and it looks like I may have a new snow plow setup for my Kubota B2601 in the very near future. I've been using an ATV w/60" plow for over 20 years but the ATV has some sort of electrical short which has baffled me so I need to move on.

I've settled on a BX2812A 60" blade with BX2825 skid shoe kit and B3410 K-Connect frame system. I'd like to hear from B2601 owners who have this setup on their experiences with it. My dealer assures me that the K-Connect will work with a future snowblower but will need the $900 'driveline kit'; I'll be on the lookout for a BX2830/BX2822A/BX2816 snowblower down the road.

Does anyone who owns/operates a BX2830 snowblower have installed any type of electrical deflector kit? It appears that Kubota does not offer anything but a hydraulic deflector option for this blower. Most likely I will end up with a BX2822A or BX2816 since the BX2830 is relatively scarce. TIA for any responses, I'll try to get some pics up when I'm finished with the install.

Well, my garden tractor (as some call it), aka Kubota 1880, just plowed 2 driveways today without any issues. Hurrah!

If you are anywhere near Massachussettes I have a BX2816 (50" wide) that is gently used. I purchased it with my BX23S and later on I upgraded to a BX2822 (55" wide) a few years ago, and BX2816 needs a new home.
I also have a BX2812 plow blade, but I only use it for cleaning up after snow blowing the driveway. The problem that I have with using the plow is that it leaves a wall of snow at the edges and once it freezes you have no place to put the next snowfall. Snow blowers eliminate that problem by putting the snow far away from the edges of the driveway.

After you plow your driveway, go back with the blade and push that wall back. Have used a truck with plow, and ATV’s/side by sides to plow but that wall left behind freezes until spring. Went to a walk behind snow blower that blew the snow far so no more wall. But my old arse got tired of that so now my 1880 does snow removal. Love it. Rear blade works great. This year I have a front blade. I use that to push that snow wall back. Great combination. Last year I used my bucket to move the wall but the front blade works better for that.

I've a BX and the Kubota quick connect system (thanks to @Speed25, great guy). From experience, buy the whole front-connect setup at once so you know it all works together. Give the dealer your model and serial number; if you do and something doesn't work Kubota will make it right, down the road it's on you and can be a bit of a costly learning experience.

Several things need to work together:
  1. quick hitch sub-frame with hydraulic lift: pins to the tractor front and has a supported bearing which effectively creates a front-PTO.
  2. driveshaft: connects the mid-PTO to the rear of the sub-frame bearing.
  3. male quick hitch: the tongue that slides into implements like a plow or snow blower.
The snow blower comes with a mini-PTO shaft that plugs into the front of the sub-frame bearing, which again is effectively a front-PTO, and it works great! If you put it together in the right order everything is fairly fast and easy to hook up and get running (at least for me).

I looked into the cost of electric shoot controls...members suggest using the left-right motion of the FEL controls to run a hydraulic motor because it lasts longer and is more affordable (and they're correct, of course), so I'm doing that. I have a 3rd function control on the FEL and will add hydraulic chute tilt. (the forum members are really smart, not to mention helpful)

I sold my rear neck breaker snowblower last year. I don't miss it.
I was out this afternoon and a couple towns away i saw a Land Pride smaller rear mount snowblower for sale.
If I lived in Erie I'd have a front and rear blower.
