PJ 7k dual brakes. Works great for my setup. Also trailer the B2650 with box blade/front mount snowblower combo.

@nbryan that thing is a beast. Does it have slide out ramps? Tilt deck?

I recently upgraded my trailer. It is a 7x22' 14k Gravity Tilt. I bought it new as it was just want I wanted, almost. When I went to look at it, it was advertised as a 10K trailer (what I wanted), when I got there, it was labeled and titled as a 14k, so 14k it is. My truck likes it, so no complaints. I can now carry another attachment with me and NO MORE RAMPS! Wohoo.

Instead of your tractor on trailer, how about your tractor pulling a trailer. Which this is the trailer we use to haul dad's zero turn mower on.

Your Dad's zero turn mower looks like a wreck.
Yeah, that has seen better days. :p

Actually, that was bunch of old engine parts, sickle mower parts, and a washing machine. Grandpa had a bunch of 'scrap' around a tree. We started going through it and found just about all the parts to build a tractor engine (radiator, water pumps, pistons, etc.). Since we bought the other trailer that we use to haul the tractor, this trailer is getting used less and less, we are thinking of getting rid of it and buying a dump trailer.

Big Tex 24' tilt with 6' stationary deck in front. 14000 lb.
KUBOTA GRAND L 6060, fits good length wise and very close to 14000 lbs with trailer, tractor, forks and hoe. Hauls very well, I'm really happy with this setup.

Sooooo the 16' PJ trailer I purchased two months ago, shrunk like magic once the B2601 was on it. Some of you here, may recognize this, new to me, 20' sport haven, it's staying in the orange family! :)

I finally got my NEW deckover trailer to haul my L3560HSTC with the BH92 attached. After spending $200 for the dealer to pick up my tractor to service the BH that had 2 leaks, one of which was the hydraulic thumb valve. My old trailer was too short and too narrow after I added the wheel spacers. I just have to get used to all things new.
What do you use to pull it?

Measuring tongue weight, AFTER hauling 1000 miles with the tractor substantially more forward. The tongue weight was way too much during that haul as the bucket was folded under the arms and the box blade was attached. As shown, the weight is good, and I just have to detach and attach the box during moves, or get a longer trailer!

After looking at all those really nice trailers, something a little different...

Towing is not a joke at all but these pics kind of are. I have never towed this trailer in this condition (notice no plate on the trailer).

My Dad bought the trailer 30 years ago and it sat in a shed without moving for at least the last 25 years. It’s old but very little use. Rarely have a use for it but it’s one of those things when you need it you need it and it’s way too big to leave sitting in the shed in an unusable condition. The biggest thing we have to haul is this tractor, so before doing any renovation on it, put the tractor on it just to make sure it fit, and that’s when these pictures were taken.

It has two 7,000lb Dexter axles but it’s only 16’ long so wasn’t sure it would fit. It is pretty tight but it’s legal and weight distribution puts an appropriate amount on the tongue. Tractor as it sits runs a bit shy of 6000lb so it’s well within the limits of the trailer. I pull a 9500lb camper with the truck with no issues so it should pull this. If I was going to haul routinely or serious long distance probably would get something more user friendly and newer.

Now that it’s cold out and things have slowed a bit, pulled the hubs, cleaned and repacked bearings, replaced grease seals, cleaned the brakes (they work much better now), installed breakaway kit, swapped 3/16” ‘safety’ chains for 3/8” Grade 43 chains, cleaned up wiring and installed a standard RV plug in place of the custom setup that only fit one truck (which is long gone), replaced the 35 year old tires, festooned it with conspicuity tape, and got a license plate for it.

It does have the donut clamp rims, which is one of the reasons I would have gone a different route if I used it constantly. Have used them previously with no problems, just have to check torque before heading out. And when you put them on, I was taught to torque the clamps in a star pattern to 20, 40, 60, 90 lb-ft. Never had a problem with them. Always kind of wondered if people who had problems took too big a jump in torquing them.

Haven’t had the tractor back on it since rehab completed. Will take a picture or two next time the tractor is on it and post if this thread is still active.
