Getting ready for Florida vacation. Trying to get some practice with new camera but too cold outside for me to go shooting.
Decided to set up tripod by kitchen slider. I have to work to do on learning to shoot with this body!

@nerwin / @botaman - I also shot a lot of Kodak product many years ago. Switched to digital (Canon 10D eventually after some really early digital entries). I have mixed feelings about the darkroom. On the one hand there was that immense satisfaction of emerging from the darkroom at 2 in the am with one or two b&w prints that I thought were good. Color added another level of frustration for me. Nothing like spending 5-6 hours in there and coming out with 4 variations of a single color image and not being sure you like any :(

A few I kept while clearing off the memory card from shots taken this last summer with dad's old Nikon D90 base (digital) and old school lenses that mount to but don't interact with the camera (so all settings and focus are manual.) I enjoy having to figure it out but then getting the ease of digital capture.

How many faces can you 'see' in the campfire??

Been there, done that! Still have all my darkroom equipment, including 2 top-of-the-line enlargers that can handle all the way up to 4"x5" sheet film, stored down in the basement. Can't find anyone who wants that stuff anymore. SO much easier to adjust a digital photo in Photoshop than to spend hours in a darkroom making one good print. I also have several rolls of Kodachrome slide film in my freezer - has to be 30+ years old. No one develops Kodachrome anymore.
