My manual gives several options. One of them is 15W-40. I've used it year 'round for several years with no problems. Of course you do want diesel rated oil of whatever viscosity you choose.

Do you have power to the glow plug when the indicator glows? Are the glow plugs good or have they possibly burned out?

I don't know where you're located but older tractors generally used a 15W-40 oil, diesel rated of course. You could go with 5W-50 for easier starts in cold weather. I live in Washington state and 15W-40 starts easily enough here even with a tractor kept outdoors in a shed.

Make sure you're checking in on level ground.

Check the air path to see if it's clear - dirty filter, mouse nest, etc. Check the glow plugs themselves. Some glow plugs can fail to a dead short instead of open. Feeding them twelve volts can cause early failure as they are generally a 10.5 volt device.

Use the tractor a bit to get a feel for what works for the job. You should not need to exceed PTO speed which should be marked somewhere. A lower setting will have less speed on hydraulic accessories but the power should not be appreciably lower.

Dan is correct but you must look carefully. It's rather a small connector taped into the wire bundle there. It's on a ten amp circuit and there is no switch. It's hot whenever the key is on. It is a standard connector but you can't get it from Kubota unless you purchase the whole work light...

I don't know if it's necessary. When I lower my three point the ballast box contacts the ground. I did have a 6 X 6 under it to keep it off the ground. When I remove it from the tractor I put it on a pair of 6 X 6 chunks to keep it off the ground and to facilitate easy installation.

Normally there are grease fittings on each end of each cylinder. You may have to reposition the bucket to make them accessible or they may be on the end rather than the side but should be somewhere. You may need to check the manual for locations or even ask the dealer.
