Anyone have a BXPanded FEL Dolly?

I made my own dolly however, for me it makes it easier to line everything up before reinstalling. Otherwise, you need to move the tractor. With a dolly, you just move it. Great for storage in the garage.

Loader hydraulic coupler leaking on a BX2380

imnukensc is correct, poor design. I had mine replaced with the “new” coupler and it still leaked. Found that if I rocked the coupler front to back when engaging the lever, the coupler would seat better and would not leak. Issue was that the lever does not allow for the two coupler pieces to be...

New (to me) BX and to the forum

Get news that all is well with your new ride. Yes, the Dealership does cost $$$. That is why most do their own maintenance. And, if there are any questions, this site is a great resource, as you can see.

New (to me) BX and to the forum

That would be good. This connector, it helps to rock it back and forth to seat it well. Make sure everything is clean. Slowly engage the connector lever. It is easy to get it not seated flush.

New (to me) BX and to the forum

One other issue that you might have the Dealership look at is a leaking Quick Release fitting for the FEL. Many have had leaking issues and have had the Dealership update the fitting.

BX2380 UDT fluid change first time

I did not change the UDT fluid at 50 hours, per the manual, but did change the UDT filter and checked the hydraulic fluid suction strainer. The manual does not say to do the strainer, but since some others indicated they had debris on it, made sense to me to check it. It was fine. Just tilted...

60" Drive Over Mid Mount Mower or 60 Traditional Side Discharge Mower

I opted for the 60” MMM on a BX 2680 with the “drive-over option” based on what I saw on videos. What they don’t tell you is that the scalp wheels need to be adjusted so the deck will sit on the ground. Taking it off is not that bad but putting it back on ; alignment to engage the lift linkage...

    Recommendations for a finish mower?

I use a Swisher 60” FCM with my Bx and it works great. Off-set works for under the trees and gets into the slopping ditches, where the Bx can’t. Finish cut is the same as the Bx MMM. Use it to help cut 2 acres around the house and 4 acres of field.

BX23S engine oil filter accessible from below? (stuck oil filter)

Channel-lock pliers work fine for me. Just go over the top of the filter. You will slightly crush the top of the filter to get a good grip and then turn. For the trans filter, I have to put some duck tape on the inside of my strap-wrench to get a good tight fit.

    Mowing with a Bx

I mow 6 acres, 2.5 around the house and the rest is field with trees and other stationary obstacles with a by BX 2380 and 60" MMM. The BX does great. I have a ditch to mow that is a 45deg slope that the BX can not do. Added a pull behind 60" finishing mower that I can offset that works on the...

    BX23S fuel tank screen

My filter has been in for 9 months and there are no issues. Check it every couple of weeks just to make sure. No flaking or pitting of the SS.

    Bx front tires

Had both front tires leak on my new BX. Put Slime in and it didn't work. Used the Kubota branded sealer two years ago and have not had an issue since.

    BX2380 Mid Mount Mower Problem

For the height adjustment knob, for me, I have to wiggle it back and forth to get it to turn.

    dolly for FEL

Might look at Amazon. I got wheels rated at 1200 lbs for $24.00. Work well for my BX FEL.

BX2680 Hydralic Leak on FEL connect

Same leaking issue with my 2380. Coupler assy (top and bottom) was replaced under warranty. The issue was initially resolved. No leaking. RnR the loader a few times and slight leaking came back. Found that by rocking the FEL corrector back and forth a bit before engaging the locking lever...

    Debris Forks Question

They are doing fine. A little paint removed, but that is expected. I do remove the tightening lever when they are being used. Debris used to catch on them. Lesson learned. :)

    Debris Forks Question

My BX (2380) has the same forks. I have a factory edge guard installed on the bucket. Lifting logs, boulders, and yard debris with no issues with the bucket. The only problem is that they are a bit short and I can not see the end of them from the driver's seat.

Must have 3 pt or FEL accessories?

Might also look at clamp-on debris forks. They pick-up pallets and more small debris than just pallet forks. Work great on my BX.

    bx2380

^^^^^ Would contact the previous owner and see if they have had issues and what they did to fix it. I had the same issue (leak) and the parts were changed/upgraded under warranty. Even after the "fix", there were leaks unless the connection was done correctly. I now rock the connector back and...
