Just purchased a 2018 bx2380 with 66 hours from a private seller 2 days after using tractor FEL quick connect is leaking fluid would this be covered under warranty and how would warranty be transferred from previous owner or does warranty follow machine.

I own a BX2380 and did have a problem with the FEL quick attach coupler leaking. This is a known problem with BX80 series tractors. Mine was fixed by the dealer under warranty. The fix involved changing a number of the quick attack parts. I do not know if your warranty is transferable or still active.

Would contact the previous owner and see if they have had issues and what they did to fix it.

I had the same issue (leak) and the parts were changed/upgraded under warranty. Even after the "fix", there were leaks unless the connection was done correctly. I now rock the connector back and forth to seat it and then engage the locking lever.

There was a TSB on this issue. All depends on the serial number, etc.

Limited Warranty coverage is based on (1) the TSB and (2) how long it's been since the retail sale date (original purchase date).
