    Toasty

I'm with the don't do heat well crowd. We had a few days in the 90's last week so I turned the ac on only to find out that the fan motor and condenser were shot. Had to wait a few days for the parts and wasn't liking that.

    M7060 road speed

With my 8540 I drop down a gear or two on hills. The first time I hit a hill It did drop down in speed but pulled it up over. It likes it a lot better down 1 or 2 gears.

    Service with bucket up?

Lost a friend to a dump body dropping on him. He was a VERY experienced mechanic. Please use caution when working around raised equipment.

    Permeable Paver Systems

We filled it with some very small crushed stone. It is flat sided as compared to pea gravel. Less likely to move around that way. Then skim coated it with sand.

    Filthy Bloodsuckers

Thermacells do work great. I use them every year bear hunting in Maine. Light it and place it at your feet on the tree stand. Within minutes the little sobs are gone. I use to have to be covered from head to toe and wear a net face mask. One year it was so bad I couldn't see out the mask...

    Press Brake

I fished for years out of Sodus Bay NY. Every year the biggest fish was caught on a snickers bar still in the wrapper and rigged with a hook. I rigged one up the first year as a joke, put it down on the downrigger and five minutes latter we were hooked up. That first fish was a steelhead that...

    Let it snow!

I was hoping for a good snow storm to try out my new to me M8540. We ended up with six inches of snow before it changed over to heavy rain. What a soupy mess. My M8540 doesn't have a cab so I decided to use my excavator to push off the mush before it froze tonight. It was like pushing a river...
