HI all, long time reader,first time posting. I've been running machines all my life. I am picking up a new to me M8540 on Saturday and driving it home about five miles. Anything I should be looking for right off the bat. It is a 2007 with just over 500 hrs on it. Just had a full dealer service. Open cab with loader.

Congratulations, we bought ours new seven years ago and it has been trouble free. 500 hours is like a new tractor.
We have the 12/12 hydraulic shuttle with a cab, all we've done is buy a hydraulic top link. Four people operate it and everyone loves it.
