    51 hours, no regen L4701

Yep, probably just means you are treating it right. My MX averages about every 44 hours.

One liners that we still use today.......

In high school I worked part time at an oilfield supply store. The owner was full of these, and I still use to this day..... About like a sharecropper on the back 40. That boy is slowgated. And he has the personality of an envelope. She has a face made for radio. Or, a face only a mother...

You tube, Outdoors with the Morgans.

I like the channel, and he was pretty upfront on the RK relationship. He stated his goal, knock out as much work as possible using the 3 loaner machines they are providing. I love my kubota, but if someone wants to give me a tractor, I will work it like it is stolen til they take it back, or it...

    Dealer completion gotcha's

Can't prove it, but think dealer cross threaded both ends of adjustable lift arm on 3 point. The turnbuckle and both threaded ends were stripped. I paid $80 to replace.

    Drive-by?

Near my home a few years ago there were two occasions, same pasture, but different times, when some idiot killed two donkeys with bow shots. I never heard if anyone was caught, but the callousness of this is mind-boggling. There is no point and indicates a sickness in the brain and lack of any...

MX4800 Stabilizer Check Chain - Sway

I went the easy route and just purchased the replacement from dealer. $85. May do something more custom if I have another problem, but as I said in OP, I think it was crossed threaded during assembly causing the problem.

MX4800 Stabilizer Check Chain - Sway

I've seen this called a check chain, a sway stabilizer, and a stabilizer chain, so I will just call it a check chain. I noticed last week that when I turned a tight corner while shredding, my tractor bogged down and almost died. First time it had ever happened. I thought it was just the heavy...

    Regen vs Parked Regen

my 4800 with 120 hours has only regenned twice - 47 and 92 hours. Like you, just keep working and no prob. If close to break, think I will just delay regen with override switch until next convenient opportunity. Going through parked regen process doesn't appear overly complicated, but not crazy...

Shear pin/bolt for PTO shaft - standard size?

I bought my place 2.5 years ago and it hadn't been maintained so a lot of my work is clearing and shredding. Unfortunately I have found the best way to find hidden treasures is to whack them with my mower. I've tried to clean as much as possible, but overgrown clumps of barbed wire wreak havoc...

    Working during break in period

When mine was new, I didn't worry about operating at PTO speed as that is about 85% for me. Just didn't go PTO+. Everyone has an opinion, but I always go buy breaking in the way you will operate. Hasn't cased me any problems on any motor I've had. But again, lots of opinions on best practice...

"1st Annual OTT, PNW, BBQ and Kubota Games" 7/15/2017

We need one for Texas! Probably not in July though - a bit warm. Hope the event is hugely successful! Please take and post lots of photos.

    Kioti ?

I looked long and hard at Kioti and almost pulled trigger, but decided distance to dealer and resale were my deciding factors. Will say though, when I was looking, the price was pretty attractive even with upgraded features like rear remotes, 3rd function, etc.

    MX4800 first week review

I'm at 100 hours on mine and couldn't be happier.

How many of you use steering wheel spinners on your tractor(s)?

I've found that backing up is much easier with the spinner - especially when connecting implements. Without using it sometimes have to reposition a few times before lining up correctly. With the spinner I can be more exact.

    Another carryall box

I like - I've been considering building something similar and may steal some ideas. One thought for those with barbed wire fences, it would be convenient to drill two holes, one on each rail, and then mount a mandrel of some kind for wire spools. Another thought, maybe add a couple of eye hooks...

HF quick hitch problems, need help.

Mine came with an adapter - kind of a clevis for linking QH to implement. Did you receive with purchase?

    Box Blade to Remove Sod

If not a tiller, do you have access to a disc? My experience is I can disc in several passes, gradually getting shallower/less aggressive to first turn over grass, and second break up clods. Then pass over it with a drag, or maybe box blade, to get final leveling.

    Imagine The Ride...

I think it is cool that the momentum is carrying the boat away from platform at a pretty significant rate. Makes sense that you want some distance quickly!
