    And Another PDI Issue

Not very often does warranty work cover all the labor, especially when it comes to a service call. The rotten boots are not uncommon, they sit outside a bit, the sun hits them, then you start to use them, they tear.

    L3200hst no start

More than likely, the HST safety switch is out of adjustment. It's located right below the steering wheel, ahead of the platform. There's a skinny jam nut that locks it in position, and then the switch itself threads into a holder. Disconnect the connection, thread in a bit so that it touches...

    what fluid?

Use 80w90 gear lube, its thicker and won't leak past the seals nearly as easy. Your owners manual should state you can use either/or, but gear lube is best

Oil Leaking Out Of The Split Pin Plug

Also, as far as an estimate, it's around a 20hr job, by the time you remove the loader and subframe, and all components, plus you have the cost of new oil, hyd filters, and the few parts that are inside

    Hydraulic fluid leak when hot?

#10 is the shaft that comes from the back of the transmission, to the front. 20 is splined and just matches with the rear shaft, which is pictured, but not numbered in that diagram. You won't need 10 or 20 new, 20 will stay in the transmission, THAT'S what you'll have to fish out and try to...

Bx24 mid mower problems Hooking up

Do not leave that half shaft to the tractor. Have had guys turn the PTO on and it hits the oil filter and usually takes off the nipple that the filter threads on to. Then you're pulling the transmission and replacing the front cover

Bx24 mid mower problems Hooking up

Sounds like half of your shaft is attached to the gearbox on the deck, and the other is attached to the tractor, correct? They slide into each other, but it's keyed, they only slide together when turned the right way, so they don't do damage to the u joints. Line the u joints up and they...

Loader won't uncurl - control valve problem LA504

Take the spool out of the bottom and check to make sure the detent ball, spring, and collar isn't corroded up. Typically, that's what it is. You can try to clean them up the best you can, but more than likely, they will just corrode again.

    Hydraulic fluid leak when hot?

You're going to want to get 40, 50, and both of 60. 60 is a sleeve, that has rubber on the inside to seal the against, the shaft, then the seal seals against that sleeve. There is one behind the bearing, and one in front of. You'll have to split the tractor to remove it, it's not a hard job...

    Zd28 help.. trans fluid

If you have the extra tank, it would go from the fill plug next to the dipstick, to a tank under the right rear fender, with a small fill port sticking up past the rear of the fender. Your dealer should be able to get you the tank, it was a PSB that was released a few years ago.

    BX2360 Oil Pan Replacement

Fastest to pull the motor, pull the front support that the hood attaches to, remove the driveshaft and all electrical and hydraulic lines, and it should come out fairly easy.

    Zd28 help.. trans fluid

The final drives are seperate on a ZD28, from the transmission. There's 2 drain plugs under the finals, near the frame, takes a 27mm wrench (1 1/16" will work also). The dipsticks for the final drives are on the top, near the frame also, one on the left hand side is between the frame and the...

    Hydraulic fluid leak when hot?

There's a good chance that if you have oil leaking from the driveshaft, and that little check valve in the bottom of the bellhousing, that the 4wd seal is out. Requires a split of the tractor, at the bellhousing....

    BX2670 power steering

Have seen it on the 50 and 60 series BX's, not completely uncommon. I would suggest having the lines made, if warranty doesn't cover it. Alot of those lines from Kubota are only single strand wire, most hoses made by a dealer are double strand

    BX 1860 steering problem

Remove the lines going to the hydraulic cylinder, and take a rubber tipped blow gun and hold compressed air into one of the fittings. If you have air coming out of the opposite fitting, that o ring seal is leaking on the piston.

    ZG327 deck height

Lift the seat, and on the right hand side near the knob you'll see 2 plastic white gears, about 4" in diameter. Spray that, and the steel cam that the knob connects to, with penetrating oil. Worst case scenario, you may have to pull the side console off that all the instruments are attached to...

    ZG327 deck height

Raise the deck all the way, turn the knob to desired cutting height, and then lower deck. In order to turn that knob, the deck must be raised all the way. Once you find the correct height you want to mow, you need to adjust your anti scalp wheels so that you can slip your fingers between the...
