    Fuel additive

I use Sea Foam. Add to gas or diesel, in recommended ratio (30ml per 4L fuel) when I fill my jerry cans. And about twice a year in my gas truck. It stabilizes, anti-gel, cleans fuel system and injectors. Gets to -30C here a lot in winter, never had gelling, tractor always started and ran...

    2017 B2650 engine oil

B2650 rated for 10w-30 or 15-40 above -10C, 10W30 below -10C. Class CI-4, CJ-4. T6 is CI-4, CJ-4. It is also full synthetic. Then my only concern is the differences in viscosities. Anyone else running T6 5W-40 below -10C out there? I'd rather use a "year round" oil like the 10W-30 than change...

    2017 B2650 engine oil

Is Rotella T6 5W-40 a good oil for these engines? OEM filters for sure here, but wondering if 5w-40 is warranty compliant, and if anyone has been using it and how it's performing for you. I ran an old VW golf TDI on T6 for years, (yes I know, different machine totally), and found it an excellent...

    small chainsaw recommendations

My 30 year old Stihl 029 with 16" bar runs like a champ. I've never even had the carb rebuilt. Suggestion: only use premium gas, Stihl mix oil, and add some Sea Foam in recommended amount to gas when you fill your jerry cans. Sent from my Moto G (5) Plus using Tapatalk

Buying several Kubota tractors, building a Camp, and maintaining 69 acres of recreational/hunting property.

My '06 Tacoma 4x4 curb weight about 4000 lb, have 200 lb cap on. Pulling 18ft 7000 lb. car hauler trailer. The other day I loaded my B2650 on it (FEL & chipper on it) with nothing in the truck box. The truck back wheels stayed down. Looked close, but loading and unloading, and driving, with the...

    WoodMaxx ™-86H or Woodlandmills WC46

The 4 knives are reversible, they have 2 cutting edges. I think I'll try sharpening them myself, a flat 35° bevel will be easy to grind, but if I pooch the sharpening job there's shops in Winnipeg that I use to sharpen my circular saw blades who are a lot closer to me than SE Michigan! But thx...

Snow plowing - Front or Rear Blade?

Is your driveway gravel? Then the box blade will not only work for snow clearing, but for driveway maintenance in summer, too. It can gather and move way more snow than a FEL, acts as a great ballast on back, and can scraper its way through ice. It stays on my tractor (B2650) all year when...

    WoodMaxx ™-86H or Woodlandmills WC46

The WM WC68 on my B2650 (19.5 HP @ PTO) eats up to 6" pine or poplar like nothing, the tach barely drops rpm. The biggest chunks barely slowed the chipper down, saw the tach drop to 522 rpm from 540, at the worst. Just need to cut the feed end of the larger (>2") wood at a sharp angle so the...

    Replaced my bucket cutting edge

Great looking job! I'm just curious what you were using it for for those 110 hours that wore the factory edge down so much. Sent from my Moto G (5) Plus using Tapatalk

    Box Blade to Remove Sod

I found this excellent thread on tractorbynet on this subject, now I am more encouraged to try. Search there for "Using a box blade on mature grass" I don't know how to do direct link to the thread. Sent from my Moto G (5) Plus using Tapatalk

    Box Blade to Remove Sod

I'm hoping to try this myself to this year, with my BB 1560. I was thinking of cutting and gathering the sod with the blade and the rippers until the box is full, then dumping the load by raising the box and backing up and doing another strip. This way I'd hoped to create a windrow that I could...

    Cheap tie-points on BX1870-1

I looked these up at our local (ish) Princess Auto store. The picture shows one 1 1/2" unit exactly like yours, "5000 LBS MBS" and says 1,666 lb safe working load. 5000 lbs is breaking strength. https://www.princessauto.com/en/detail/1-1-2-in-surface-mount-tie-down-anchor-ring/A-p8348047e They...

Non stick coating for mower deck

I wouldn't use it, the safety data sheet makes it sound rather unhealthy. Sent from my Moto G (5) Plus using Tapatalk
