As the muffler and exhaust pipe are solidly connected through to the engine I have no doubt the engine vibrates them heavily against their mounts. An option might be to have a short section of flex exhaust pipe between the muffler and exhaust pipe, and/or a rubber hanger or anti-vibration mount...

Not a baler, but my B2650 snow blower chute direction works off the curl circuit, and raise or lower it with the boom circuit. I usually drop the boom down to float, pushed fully forward clicks into detent, once on a level run. But the curl circuit is different, the chute won't move to the right...
