High current draw with key on

Battery's are the dangest things when they fail. I swear they engineer them to fail in a new way every year.

High current draw with key on

Sounds like maybe your glow plugs are stuck on. Turn the key on and check the voltage to the glow plugs. Im betting you will show voltage. Also you should not show 30 volts. It should not be more than 15 so maybe your voltage regulator is pooched.

    turn up fuel

No 2 Kubota engines are the same so it makes it a little tough to tell you how. You can do what I do and study the parts manual for your particular engine and find the mechanism for rack setting. Then your on your own with what you do with it. You have been given some very good educated and...

Hey no big deal. I screw up more than I get it right.:D

    turn up fuel

I have to disagree with the previous post. Over fueling a gas engine will cause the exhaust to run cooler. Over fueling a diesel cause excessive exhaust temps. The leaner a diesel runs the cooler the exhaust. If you have black smoke you have high temps.

    L3240 hst

Likely transmission oil leaking out the input shaft seal to the transmission. Check that your vent is clear. If it is plugged it will pressure up the housing and force oil out somewhere.

    GF1800 lifting capacity

I checked the WSM and the factory relief specs are 427-498psi. There are 2 thickness of shims. .3mm and .5mm. Not sure hom many you might need but I would try one .5mm and see if that does it for you.

    GF1800 lifting capacity

No I don't remember if it even had any shims. The springs are a good idea to even for just regular mowing as it will transfer some weight to the drive wheels for extra traction.

    GF1800 lifting capacity

They set the relief to just barely lift a mower deck. It is a easy job to increase the relief pressure after you get the proper shims.

    L3400 engine problems

Glad you found the problem. I don't want to overly concern you but gas in a diesel is a bad deal. It can blow tips of injectors and the dryness of gasoline will cause premature wear of injection pumps and injectors. But, considering most tractors like these put very few hours on you likely will...

    Kubota Online

So anybody else out there have the access denied page show up when trying to access Kubota parts. I tried 2 browsers my phone my tablet and I get the same message no matter what site I use. It says I am not in Canada so I cannot access the parts manuals. Go figure. Kubota really needs to get its...

    Clean your coolant system

Only problem with that is the aluminum powder reacts with copper. You are fine if you have an al radiator but many machines have a water to oil cooler with copper tubing and with enough time will corrode your oil cooler and then you have antifreeze in the oil.

    HST HP loss

HST will loose more at the drawbar than a gear transmission but they were never intended for pulling. There is very little more loss at the pto compared to a gear drive.

    LA844 Loader question

Obviously poor manufacturing process but nothing that will affect the operation of the loader. Purely cosmetic but annoying just the same.

    White smoke at high RPM

Looking at your video I would say your spray pattern is poor. More like a stream. Poor injectors will toast an engine is short order. Chances are you have scored cylinders already, and maybe even eroded pistons. Get the injectors serviced and try it. They also look like they leak after the...
