    Kurt Mill Vise Swivel Base?

Bill- certainly hope your heading in the right direction now. Best wishes you get what you want this trip! Thing just looks of high quality and “precise.” I can see why they’d be spendy. 10 days ago I returned a new laptop to Amazon seller. Thing had Gremlins. Never return stuff, let alone...

Awesome dogs / Crazy pets Thread

Ollie turned 10 today. He got a new toy. He also had a walk with his litter mate that lives in town. And another one...he’s 10, 2 toys are okay...😎

equitable way to purchase and/or share implements with neighbor

While I would also generally discourage a shared approach, some implements are more maintenance than others. You mention a flail mower and chipper. Both PTO-driven. Potential to damage both the implements and/or the tractor in their use. Just thinking of the combined scenario where neighbor...

    What’s Your Pucker Factor?

Henro - Point taken. I got where you were coming from. Unfortunately, in retrospect, my response was poorly worded and relayed/portrayed an unintended/undeserved message. My sincere apologies for the diversion.....

    Fake or real filter

I got 3 different answers. China, Malaysia, and the Air filter says USA. All bought at local dealership.

    Spring Turkey

We had spitting snow in the valley where we are, but I heard some places up in elevation ad 2" on the ground....too late for that.

    What’s Your Pucker Factor?

Henro - you should NEVER do something with your tractor if you feel unsafe....period. Don’t come here asking if “is this too much, or not enough?!?” Even though I said I’d mow that doesn’t make it right for you... I can still hear my mother asking “if your friends were jumping off a cliff...

    Spring Turkey

When I was a youngster, we didn't have wild turkeys. Pretty popular sport now. We've got a lot of them. I don't hunt anymore. In the spring, I shot woodchucks...the 4-legged variety..... Saw a dozen birds right near the road this morning. Couple Toms all puffed up. Toms looked good...

    What’s Your Pucker Factor?

With my BX, I don’t think I’d have an issue mowing Henro’s spot. Doubt I’d take my old Moline on it. Slopes are really hard to gauge in photos. I might have a different opinion in person.

    What’s Your Pucker Factor?

Yeah, reason I took those pictures was because it looked funky from the uphill side! I don’t mow the house side of the ditch. There’s places that are way too much. That’s Stihl 086 or 130 brush cutter territory. There’s some steep places out behind the house. Don’t know degrees there...

    What’s Your Pucker Factor?

I mow some steep places. I don’t know degrees, etc. but it’s the same lawn for 30 years. I don’t have spacers, but rears loaded. This was a few years ago. Just chuckled it looked tipped over from above.

BX25D running rough after fuel filter change

Definitely where I'd start too. Front filter before the IP is pretty easy to get to. Maybe he's done that, but it's much more pallitable than trying to clean a tank obstruction....

    BX2200 Misfire and Dark Coolant

Ouch..... I can't offer much help, but I've read here for years that some aftermarket heads create more problems than they fix. They can be junk, right out of the box.....

What front snowblower fits a B1700?

You have a Canadian version of Kubota's parts diagrams. Go to that site, agree to the legal stuff, then enter your B1700 tractor model. There should be a "local options" selection there. That will give you attachments compatible with your tractor. Finding a snowblower is one...

    Transmission rebuild quote

Kingstrucking - - You're new here at OTT. Came on few weeks ago. rbargeron and 007kubotaguy had the same suggestion, and it sounds like you're following those suggestions. Good for you. Those guys have forgotten more about Kubota Tractors than I'll ever know....they're both sharp cookies...

Little Kitty back in the neighborhood

My wife just showed me Facebook photos from neighbor 1/2 mile down the road. Bobcat spent quite a bit of time in the yard...couple pics were right up against the house. Seemed pretty comfortable there, and looked like a juvenile. We've had a decent coyote population for 30+ years. Black...

Wanted: 6 volt DC portable tire inflator

Army - - - that is so cool! It's drivable..that's funny....how much motive machinery do you know of that's usable 99 years later? Even a "late" Model T will be 100 pretty quick....made until 1927, I think? I have a friend that restored just T's for years. He and several other friends...
