Im sure someone will one up me, but!

That picker is an awesome piece of equipment, wonder what something like that goes for. What is the large brown oil-tank-looking thing right next to it? I would think the picker is 'self contained' so that dragging around a fuel or hydraulic tank wouldn't be necessary. I really do like it, I'm...

B2620 stopped running while in operation

I'm guessing the failure of some sort of operator safety switch (seat, PTO, etc.) which is preventing engine start. Loss of electrical power wouldn't likely happen so abruptly, similarly for fuel starvation, so it's some sort of interruption in the electrical starting circuit. Could be a broken...

Military Veterans Thread and other 1 Delta 10 Tango stuff.

Tractor Supply is, IMO, one of the most consistent retailers to show support for military veterans (like me) by establishing year-round 'preferred parking' for veterans with signage and dedicated parking spots right beside the front door of their establishment. Every time I park there I wonder...

    B2601 Front Snowblower Hydraulics...

Actually, reading the above-mentioned thread ...'worst Kubota parts ever'... was what got me thinking of adapting the blower to the Swift-Tach coupler initially. I think it's a valid, doable adaptation. Hose supports are the most questionable aspect at this juncture.

    B2601 Front Snowblower Hydraulics...

I am contemplating acquisition of a front BX2822A snowblower for my B2601 ('22) and would like to configure an attachment for connecting the blower hydraulic system to the Swift-Tach receptacle located on the tractor after loader removal. In other words, I'd like to adapt a Swift-Tach 4-hose...

I like Orange. The BX2380 is being considered.

I'd be interested in why the BX2380 instead of the BX2680; I'm not sure of the price difference but since you are financing a new tractor finance EVERYTHING. A lot of people will advise that a FEL and a MMM don't really play well; I'd advise trying to envision which of those attachments means...

    Regen comparison

Any opinions on Biodiesel with respect to engine operation? I had to change fuel filters after running several tanks of Biodiesel (not b/c of a problem with the Biodiesel, but rather a periodic mileage interval) and noticed that the fuel was bright green, like anti-freeze. My truck ran good on...

    Greasing zerks

One of these is on my grease gun and it's highly recommended.

    15-40 oil in cold weather

I get my oil at WalMart and the Mobil is cheaper than Rotella, which is substantially harder to come by these days.

lX2610 transmission housing aluminum or not?

OP: FWIW I'll add this to the discussion; I was on the verge of buying an LX2610 when I finally got to see one next to a similarly equipped B2601 at my dealer's lot; I immediately realized that the B2601 was a better fit for me and am very happy I made that choice. I'd seriously recommend...

    15-40 oil in cold weather

Coming up on my 50-hour filter change on my B2601; still has factory oil fill. At 50 hrs I'll drain, install new Kubota engine oil filter, and I'll be using Mobil Delvac 15W-40 Synthetic for year-around use. I like Rotella 5W-40 in my Ram Cummins truck; IMO 5W-40 is mainly designed to provide...

    this really happened

Sell 'em. Tires have a lifespan. They're not doing you any good just taking up space. I doubt the next owner of the tractor would be willing to pay a premium for an extra set of tires. Try FB Marketplace, seems to get lots of activity. Good Luck! (y)

    PTO Chipper recommendations

Here's my B2601 with my Woodland Mills WC68 attached; got in four hours of chipping today. Chipper is in 'travel' mode, with feed chute folded up. Had to take my BH70 off (first time since acquiring it 3 months ago), that process was much easier than I anticipated. My BH dolly works great, but...

    3 point chipper?

I've had a very positive experience with a Woodland Mills WC-68 paired with a B2601; have never experienced stalling, lugging or any noticeable difficulty with the tractor running the chipper, generally at about 2500 RPM (under 50 hours on new tractor so I'm running engine at less than full 2800...

    Shopping for my first tractor

You may want to rethink the snow removal plan depending on how much snow you get in your location. I don't think the L series tractors (fabulous units BTW) have front PTO output so a snowblower would have to be a rear (three-point) mounted unit used while driving in reverse. 600 yards seems like...

    Block heater ?

I guess it all depends on whether you intend to use the tractor in cold weather. Since it's stored indoors, the ambient temperature of the storage area is also a factor, as is the expected temperature during winter usage conditions. Personally, I passed on the block heater and have never had a...

    inherited M6060 with DPF warning

Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF) does not have anything to do with a Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF). I believe that most (if not all) Kubota diesel's that have a DPF do not have or use DEF. I'm pretty sure that the only Kubota's that have a DPF are those that are sold in the USA with engines rated...

    Weight Box

I know, I know, I'm a cheapie....Found a new-condition Kubota ballast box on FB Marketplace, used big rocks from the yard to fill it. Mine is the older style, apparently doesn't work with a QH. I just have to remember to pick it up before I try to drive away!

    BH77 Backhoe Dolly

Great engineering, nice build and awesome writeup! IMO that's the most thought-out & HD dolly setup I've seen! (y) Very well done!:)
