    mid mount mower problems

Yep, what 85Hokie said. It doesn't look like the blades are misaligned, it looks like the deck isn't level -- looks just like the striping I got when my tires were low.

    B7100 Rim/Tire problem

What a terrible surprise! Hey, you did such a great job photoshopping those two tires to line them up in the same picture, maybe you could do that to your rim and make it work!

    B7100 rear brake advice needed

Don't know but one of the gurus will chime in soon. I would expect to be able to move it by hand, but you might try using a leaver to push the brake pedal and watch to see if it moves. It really sounds like you need to do some serious rust-busting.

    Making wood pellets

Have you considered putting in step-down gears? Sounds like you need to reduce the PTO rotations by a good amount -- two or three times.

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Clever! And very professional-looking. Welcome to OTT! Sorry you got hammered, but I'm glad it was a pretty gentle note; if it had been one of my real hard-core picture-nazis like skitter (or flitter, or whatever his name is), you'd have lost some skin! :D :D :D :D

    Daily Chuckle

 Okay, so I'm pretty dense (Irish, ya ken): spell it out for me, are you sayin yer a baby 'gator, or dose the coon cap fit yew? :D :D :D :D

    Daily Chuckle

Priceless, DT! Since you're nowhere near Florida and a long way from Louisiana, I presume you see yourself as a coon.

    Rotary Cutter Blade Balancer

Yep, chim put it very well. And yes, I do have a finish mower, but ignore that and just consider the momentum that chim is addressing.

Question for my friends that think differenty

They do require heat, and moisture the first time used. Generally put the lids in simmering water while preparing and filling the jars. I suspect that desiccant would not help much. Those types of foodstuffs must be completely dry before being sealed. It is so critical that canners don't even...

Question for my friends that think differenty

DT is correct about vacuum cleaners being high-flow, low pressure. However, in one of the DIY cyclone builds I've seen (I believe it was a John Heinz post), his 5-gallon bucket partially collapsed. I would be surprised if it had developed even 10"H, but it seems it would be adequate for the...

    Rotary Cutter Blade Balancer

Well, no... and yes. The blades aren't stacked; each one is on its own shaft, and they are driven by a belt.

Question for my friends that think differenty

Hmm... A shop vac would be more powerful than a "sweeper"... prolly. Did you note what brand and type she used? Any vacuum is good. Lots of vacuum is really good. And you don't really need a gauge unless you want to put up food for a long time, like months or even years. Just rig your shop...

    Rotary Cutter Blade Balancer

I like your 'gizmo' as well. I particularly like that it requires some precision in fabricating the level, and necessitates close matches in the weight of add-on parts. And I can see a benefit of having blades of very close weights. (My R322T has three blades, so it would require some extra...

Well, okay, but doesn't it make you feel warm and fuzzy thinking that they have your health and well-being in mind? :D :D

Folks unhappy with Tier IV motors may want to consider...

Now, I'm not recommending this, I'm just saying you may want to consider swapping out your motor for a used Audi, Porsche, or VW diesel. Well, look what some clever engineers have figured out: V6 Porsche, Audi, and VW vehicles have defeat device

    front end scoop FES

Oh, man, love that workbench! Looks like I-beam legs, laminated 6" wood top, and a 1/8" steel skin. Wow! Also like the clever scoop, and the remote mechanical latch release! :D Looking at the latch, I'm curious how it will stand up when you dig in solid ground, and especially when you curl to...

Output alternator vs LED light load???

Chainsaw, I admire how you've thought it out. And I understand why you want lots of light. I want to call your attention to a couple of things you may not have considered: a) 200w lightbar is going to make a very bright spot that you won't want to look at while you're working; b) a single-point...
