They didnt get caught with their hands in the jar, they cut a hole in the basement floor - built an elevator to the top shelf, then drilled a precise hole in the bottom of the jar to lift the cookies out one by one......

if they only had swept up the crumbs on the kitchen floor!:p

diesels burn cleaner than gas engines, in Europe diesels are given a allowance for higher nitrogen emissions due to lower co2 emissions, compared to a gasoline engine.
their goal is to have engines that burn clean get great mileage while staying affordable.
unlike our epa, where they don't care about the cost to the end user or any reduction in mileage. as they can just fine the auto company, i.e., you the consumer for the poor mileage.
also our epa, requires diesels to meet the same standards as gasoline engines, not giving us a break for having better co2 emissions, and the more important byproducts.
