    Block heater

My L3600 is the same, she will start no issues in our North Idaho Snowstorms :) One thing I learned early was that most of us use our tractors as "Chore Tractors" which is actually pretty hard on all the working parts. So I tried to mitigate the cold starts as much as possible using a...

How to properly shift gears in a L175

I am pretty sure the L175 has a Clutch PTO I remember my L185 did That makes it a little harder to move and stop with a Spinning Implement, you kinda have to THINK before moving

    PTO Front Shaft

The best part is the huge chunk of Tool Steel that I might beat into submission and make something sharp out of it :)

    PTO Front Shaft

Marked and done Cut, smoothed out, and hooked back up.. I would guess about 7" longer than the old half shaft left a good 2.5" of safety also.. Everything is all Greased, New Oil, New Filters, Howes added to the fuel all lights checked and working. Another dozen Shearbolt sets still...

    PTO Front Shaft

Okay this is going to sound confusing but I will try and push through I have had a 60" Snow Blower that I moved over from my L185 to the Newer L3600 since 2012 Sometime around 2016 I added a set of Pat's but the shaft still engaged and I had no probs. Everything worked fine and I have...

    Yotes !!!

That was my Caliber of choice for Coyotes. Bought a Mossberg (Howa) 1500 Bull Barrel probably 30 years ago now, totally re-worked the entire rifle into a tack-driving machine Oddest rifle it actually liked the lighter faster loads for the most accuracy.. Haven't hunted Coyotes since we left...

    Talk about BS

Re: Talk about Trash So in 4/2002, we moved to North Idaho from the epitome of suburbia in Colorado Springs. We were paying $6 per/month for Waste management to pick up two cans at the curb We get up here and WM wants $18 per/month to pick up 2 cans at the ranch "Okay" I say it is farther...

    Confused about Fluids

Short vs Long filter Using the short filter means that I can actually snake my hand in there and change the filter WITHOUT having to take the lower panels off.. This means that I change the filter easily and like clockwork :P

    Confused about Fluids

I did that and yes they work fine, plus the WIX (51307) is available locally for my oil changes.. I went with the Valvoline 15-40 API Diesel rated, I have always had good luck with Castrol and Valvoline brands so I stuck with it.. Still having to order in the WIX Hydraulic(57098) Air (46483)...
