    B8200 powersteering required

Looks good! I now can't live without mine. I had one of the old hoses from the valve to the cylinder split and it was terrible using the tractor without the power steering.

    B8200 replace tach/hour meter

You were right there, If I remember correctly it's actually on the underside of the dash right beside the tach. A black rectangle box 1" by 1" by 2" and held in place by one bolt. Sounds like a good deal and am glad your happy.

    B8200 replace tach/hour meter

You don't have to take off the fuel tank to change it. Loosen the dash, slide it up the steering shaft to access the two nuts on the tach clamp and unscrew the cable. The dash is held in place by four 12mm bolts.

    L35 Backhoe ????????

Yep must be the oil I'm using. When I change it, it's black within a few weeks. Your Amsoil is not readily available up here in Canada.

    1980 b7100

Sorry about your wifes car. The first year I had my B6200 with plow, I scraped my father-in-law's $250 000 RV. This was his baby, he would spend about 4 days a month cleaning and waxing it. Did I ever feel sick having to come in and tell him what happened.:(

Great tractor, not so great operator

I like the cheap LED lights also. Bought a pack of 5 flashlights that came with 15 AAA Duracell batteries for the cost of just the batteries.

    L35 Backhoe ????????

If you do rent it then it might be a good idea to have a few knowledgeable friends to go over it with you or hire a professional to look at it with you. I think oil being black on a diesel is pretty normal.

    L35 Backhoe ????????

I'm not sure if I would buy a rental unit either. Just too many previous owners. Too many questions that couldn't be answered like how often was it driven in 4wd on hard surfaces. But then again I see you dilemma about having a backhoe for the price.

    Unloading loaded tires on B8200

Sorry Dan, I miss understood your post and didn't realize you were having problems with the core. I've heard of valve stem extenders that have little o-rings and that would give you new threads to screw the core into. I agree with Kubota Newbie about you having to much fluid in the tires...

    1983 L355SS 4WD question

Yep I think used is the way to go as new is going to cost a pretty penny and thats if the parts are still available.

    B6000e questions

I have a B8200 which is a few sizes larger and newer then your B6000. In the operators manual it lists a 4 foot bush hog as the maximum size. I think you need to look for something much smaller. Chains will help but for the cost it might be worth just investing in some ag. Looks like a great...

    Unloading loaded tires on B8200

Dan hopefully someone with more knowledge will chip in but what I remember hearing is that if you use the calcium chloride you should use tubes so that your rims won't rust and this should solve your valve stem problem.
