    Nearly rolled - Stay safe

I had a scary moment a few weeks ago. We have a puddle on sloping gravel road at out property. I've probably driven though that puddle 100+ times without any problems. We recently had some heavy rains that caused a lot of flooding. The puddle has become a major hole and I almost rolled my...

    Piranha

Same here. The only bad thing is I'm running out of things to dig up.

    Toolbox Upgrade

I swapped out my OEM toolbox for a 50 cal ammo can. I used the hardware from the toolbox and SMV sign to mount it. Ok, I ripped that idea off from someone else but I did add a $4 magnet tray to it. I'm tired of putting my pins and washers on the fender while changing implements, only to knock...

    Clamp on pallet forks

I have forks from Titan Attachments. It's just to easy to hook them up as opposed to screwing and lining up the clamp on kind. I can quickly move my forks to accommodate different items. Plus my forks don't weigh as much as my bucket so it doesn't cut into my lifting max. Good luck

    Fuel gauge showing empty

I have the opposite problem. My fuel gauge always shows full. I forgot to tell the dealer when I took it in for service last time. I just deal with it.

New tool box for my L3800

Nice work. Did you fabricate the support bracing yourself?

    Rust Converter

No. That would not be practical in my situation.

    Rust Converter

I've got some corrosion on my L3800 that I plan to take care of over the holidays. I would describe the areas as just staining or light rust. This product seems to have good reviews. Whatever I do, I plan to top coat with Kubota paint. Has anyone used this product or similar one they would...

Drilling loader frame for canopy support

I want to fabricate some supports for my canopy and have them connect to the loader frame. My thoughts were to fabricate some brackets and connect them to where I've circled by drilling and bolting. Then run the supports from the brackets to the canopy. Is this a bad idea?

What to do when a hydraulic hose busts?

Thanks for the replies. I learned something. You can never be too careful.

What to do when a hydraulic hose busts?

Fortunately, I've never had a hose bust but I know it'll be there one day. If I get a pinhole leak or worse what should I do? Shut her down and just leave it in place until I get a new hose?

    Implement Attaching Tips?

I have telescoping arms and that has been a tremendous help. I also use a pry bar to get an implement lined up as opposed to moving the tractor. I am seriously considering a QH.

    $300 For 50 hour service on L2501

Agree. They just didn't have the model I wanted in stock at the time. Otherwise, I would have purchased it from them.

    $300 For 50 hour service on L2501

Yep. that's the place. I have a camp in Vinegar Bend, AL. It's easier to haul it up the road then back to Mobile. I've never bought anything there. They've serviced my tractor twice and both were good experiences. I had a bad experience with the dealer in Baldwin county where I bought my...

    $300 For 50 hour service on L2501

We live in the same city but I take my tractor to a dealer in Waynesboro, MS because it's closer to where I keep my tractor. My 50 hour service was about $350. It bothered me not one bit because it would have cost me more in frustration if I did it myself. My time is so limited now. When I...

    ROPS bracket for lights?

I used u-bolts to attach a 2x6 painted black to my ROPS. Then I mounted the lights to the 2x6. It left me plenty of room to hide the excess wire from the harness. If I had to do it again I would use these..... https://www.magnetsource.com/Solutions_Pages/rndbase.html

    Tree puller on a B2650?

I have a piranha tooth bar and I can remove trees the size you described. I just take a few scoops to loosen up the roots on one side and just dump the dirt in the same spot. Then I just push it over. After pushing it over I have to work the roots a little more to get it completely out...
