Why no seat belt interlock on tractors?

should be able to permanently disable it by popping out the switch and jumping it with a wire. Works on the fords. My silverado has it but it auto disables when my trailer is plugged in so I don’t mind it.

    First brand new tractor

You got that right. my buddy was running his 74ish IH, I was on my little BX and I was moving dirt just as fast as him. I could travel to and from the pile 3x per his 1 trip. Sometimes it is fun hoppin on an old smelly machine though. Something about the smell of diesel and dripping hydraulic...

    Woodmizer project. Picture heavy

The forks I picked up, one was bent so it wouldn’t pick up the pallets. A come along pulled it in, I went past by 2.5” when I released it about 4 hrs later they line up perfectly. Moved some cedars I had in the side yard with them. Then moved my ssqa-v and put my bucket on a pallet. I need 1...

    Accident To Share

Crazy that I read this thread and did the exact same thing yesterday. Only my feet weren’t under the loader. The BX is small enough that I was standing In front of the forks when I did it. So when the loader fell down, it just pushed the forks against my legs. Easily could have turned into a...

    Woodmizer project. Picture heavy

I have used 3 part products in the past on motorcycles. Once I can get all new chain, I was debating on coating them with sylkoline (not sure I spelt it right) synthetic chain lube. Thats what I used to use on my race bike. Not sure how well it will work only because you’re supposed to apply it...

    Woodmizer project. Picture heavy

Figured I’d start a thread for my new sawmill adventure. Since the BX is going to be helping do the work. started out with a friend needing some help with it, and turned into being able to set it up at my place. It’s a 1985 LT30. Sat outside neglected for quite a few years. I cleaned the carb...

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Well crap..... guess this is what I get for paying more attention to the grapple teeth picking up logs, than I did watching trailer/tractor front end....

    Hydraulic Chute rotation

I can’t help with that as I have a 3pt not sure it would be the same. I do however want to say I’m envious of your ability to rack and stack your implements!

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

this was my gift to myself this year. Just put it up Before the crap weather started. this was the original plan but lowering the rops would have to become a new muscle memory. Plus the tractor takes up less space in the garage. I didn’t put the ends on it so I can back my flat deck through it...

    Bucket hook installation tips

thays what I do. I can also chose to use a grab hook or a slip hook as I made up 4 chains. Each one is 10’ and has a grab on 1 end and a slip on the other end.

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

I got the engine running, swapped the plugs, oil, and filter. Ended up needing a fuel pump the 20hp Honda is way quieter than I expected. My friend who owns it is coming over tomorrow to teach me how to use it. I have figured everything out except the motor mech for the forwards-backwards...

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

The BX was killing it today. Got the last 2 loads of logs piled. 2 logs I couldn’t lift. I could however curl them. So I managed to get them to the pile. I’m going to measure them to do a weight estimate before I mill them. Neighbours dog came over for a visit. edit - first pic was taken at...

New BX23S Owner-Spring Cleaning Implement recommendations

I’m gonna start a thread later about my sawmill adventures. out of all these logs only 1 could I not lift off my trailer, I chained it and dragged it off the deck, then grabbed and curdled. Got it high enough off the ground to be able to move it.

New BX23S Owner-Spring Cleaning Implement recommendations

I love having a grapple. I have the HLa and it’s a heavy beast. The LP one is 100lbs lighter. However I haven’t grabbed anything with mine that I couldn’t at least curl back and get off the ground. How ever that being said If I could I would swap the HlA for the LP just for the additional lift...
