    Woodmizer project. Picture heavy

Cant post a video. Have to figure that out later. On todays episode of dude learning to sawmill..... a broken set screw was preventing the drive from engaging. I poured a pile of transmission fluid on the chains, wire brushed the drive bars and cleaned them all up. This shaft is going to need...

Pin-On bucket vs SSQA on a BX23s what would you do?

tomorrow I will hopefully be able to add a winch to my ssqa attachments. I’m thinking a boom pole like that with a snatch block and my 12v winch would be an excellent way lift my small dock.

Pin-On bucket vs SSQA on a BX23s what would you do?

that is an amazing idea. I do think I’m going to steal it. That looks like it would be a much safer method to put my pond dock in and out.

    BX snow removal suggestions.

im so glad the road I live on, we don’t have that problem. The plow goes by so fast there is practically no windrow from it.

Pin-On bucket vs SSQA on a BX23s what would you do?

Ssqa hands down is the only way to go. I’ve tossed 4 different items on my loader on the same day. Love the versatility and speed of it. Within a minute I can go from bucket to trailer mover, or plow, then if I need to I can toss on the forks or the grapple. the other day i swapped between the...

    What am I missing?

Kubota insurance covered my 3pt parts after a pin fell out while I was traveling across my yard. I had my scarifiers down on my BB and the top left pin came out. Bent my left arm, the adjustment loop, and the top link. Kubota replaced all the parts for free. Also. If a BB drops a corner it’s...

    L series Backhoe worth getting?

pissing contest are funny. money being no object, hands down I would have a tractor without a BH, a mini ex for digging, and a skid steer for moving stuff quick. since money is a factor, a TLB works great for 90% of what I need done. That’s high enough % in my books. We all need to decide what...

Securing BX TLB to a trailer

in ontario (like jay said) we have to secure the attachments. The law for it came out after the invention of the BH locks. I don’t put my BH on the deck. The only time I toss a strap on it is if im going further than the farm. (It’s a 10 min drive) I only do it to avoid a ticket And court time...

Awesome dogs / Crazy pets Thread

This is my GSP. We got her last December. She will literally fall asleep sitting up. Took the blanket pic this morning. She fell backwards. Woke herself up. Then climbed over me to lay on my side. So I covered her back in the blanket and we Had a 15 min power nap. She is a 50lb lap dog. Training...

Securing BX TLB to a trailer

not sure how that could happen on a pinned BH, i alway put a little pressure on mine after I drop the pins in. Even though I doubt they would fall out.

Securing BX TLB to a trailer

yup which makes me laugh. If the loader or BH manage to detach, that would be insane. I would suspect that it’s chance happening would be less than .0001%

    Woodmizer project. Picture heavy

Lol, I will get some pics and hopefully a video in the new year. i do have a small stack of wood drying. Good idea putting the log on it. I didn’t think about that. I did however move the head all the way to the front So it’s harder to lift.

    Bucket hook installation tips

i have thought about welding a receiver on mine, but I already have one on my other attachment that also has a hook. If I didn’t have that, I’d do the hitch so I could swap between whats in the middle, grab, slip, hitch etc.

    Woodmizer project. Picture heavy

Pulled the tongue off the mill, and then used the forks to place the grapple and three heavy logs around it. Hoping that’s enough of a theft deterrent. I am debating on moving it to my side yard so it’s not so easily accessible from the driveway. Means more work for the BX, but running it’s...
