    This Weather Event

We got hammered. Been snowing almost 24 hrs. i cleared 4 driveways this morning. Mine and some elderly peoples on my road. Went out twice today. Will have to head out again tomorrow morning. We all have 4x4 and winter tires so I’m lucky that I don’t have to worry about it like I did when there...

Anyone put a BX with loader in a Shelter Logic Tent

I actually decided to use it for my truck instead. So I didn’t have to worry about moving my ROPs. Every time it snow. I knock the snow off it with a push broom.

Pin-On bucket vs SSQA on a BX23s what would you do?

im going to be working on implement storage this year. I need to bring in some fill and raise the ground. Then build a gravel path to what will become the implement shed. Only place I can roll something on wheels is my garage lol, and I don’t store the attachments. Only the tractor and atv in it.

    Hydraulic chute rotation

Awesome! I have hydraulic on my rear blower. I’d like to set up electric for deflection I just haven’t yet.

    Hydraulic Top Link

Im a bit envious. I’d like to get a top link for my 23s. They are not easy to find for a decent price around here.

Pin-On bucket vs SSQA on a BX23s what would you do?

Ssqa is awesome. I had my ssqa-v on, moved my trailer. Switched to the bucket to move some snow, then swapped to the forks to organize my row. a few more pallets and nothing will ever have to sit on the ground again. Those smaller pallets can be found for free. I got a guy keeping an eye out on...

    Truck Shopping.

they aren’t in the business of losing money... I got my 2021 for 7k under msrp taxes in. Thanks to some discounts and a family member. They made money even though I saved that much. I also was lucky that I ordered it while there were still deals. If I didn’t love this diesel so much, I could...

    SSQA to plow/3pt adapter/trailer hitch

your post got me thinking.. eventually I want to get a hydraulic top link. I bet I could fab up the brackets to use it for power angle on the plow because I can’t use the top link with the blower. It would mean adding somthing to my 3rd function so I could operate them independently.

    Truck Shopping.

Havnt had my 21 6 months yet and was already called and asked if I wanted to trade it at the 6 month mark... only reason I said no was because I ordered this as what I wanted and getting a diesel is impossible right now.

    SSQA to plow/3pt adapter/trailer hitch

Finally got my winch wired up. I have enough wire that I can use it on the loader or the 3pt hitch attachment. For the loader. The plan is to only use it to pull logs up a set of rails (that I still have to build). On to the sawmill deck. That way I can have the logs closer to the mill and only...

Pin-On bucket vs SSQA on a BX23s what would you do?

the winch won’t be for lifting the dock, so much as just using it as an unlimited adjustment strap. Be a lot safer than the 4 cargo straps I currently use. The BX has zero problems with the weight of the dock, I do put the BH on for maximum counter weight just because I am working really close...

technically this one is 6 way. It mounts on the arm that you slide in and out for the log/lumber size. I ended up cutting off that pin, the new one isnt bent to crap like the old one so it was rubbing on the bracket. Not sure what the pin was for, but the hose clamp holds the coolant line.

Asked a buddy if he wouldnt mind putting new rods on the adjuster... he ended up making a new one and offered to make a new one for the fixed roller as well.

Thumb Thoughts (for me on a BT900)

I wouldn’t own a BH without it. After I get my hydraulic top link, a hydraulic thumb mod is next on my list.

None of the lumber I cut will be wasted (except the one small piece my dog stole and hid in the woods)…. I have a platform stand for deer hunting so any weird of off cut stuff will be used to frame the walls and roof of it. Anything that comes out at proper sized and shape dimensional lumber...

    Tire chain came off today.

Another vote for air down. I used to have to chain up my 6x6 25t tow truck. It was a pain but they were on there all winter. Rarely did I ever have to tighten them a second time.

More repairs today. The fixed roller guide adjustment nuts were seized so I took it off, and cleaned it up. Works much better now. The floating one, it’s going to need to have the threaded rods cut off and replaced. they are rotten. I will hopefully have the part back in a couple days and I will...
