your post got me thinking.. eventually I want to get a hydraulic top link. I bet I could fab up the brackets to use it for power angle on the plow because I can’t use the top link with the blower. It would mean adding somthing to my 3rd function so I could operate them independently.

the winch won’t be for lifting the dock, so much as just using it as an unlimited adjustment strap. Be a lot safer than the 4 cargo straps I currently use. The BX has zero problems with the weight of the dock, I do put the BH on for maximum counter weight just because I am working really close...

technically this one is 6 way. It mounts on the arm that you slide in and out for the log/lumber size. I ended up cutting off that pin, the new one isnt bent to crap like the old one so it was rubbing on the bracket. Not sure what the pin was for, but the hose clamp holds the coolant line.

Asked a buddy if he wouldnt mind putting new rods on the adjuster... he ended up making a new one and offered to make a new one for the fixed roller as well.

Another vote for air down. I used to have to chain up my 6x6 25t tow truck. It was a pain but they were on there all winter. Rarely did I ever have to tighten them a second time.
