    Hi Terry, You will find the ALT behind the fan. Since this size machine is thermo-siphon, there is NO water pump. Thus that is the part you seek! Look up a wiring schematic and try troubleshooting. of course a disassembly and cleaning first would probably go a ***long*** way to putting it back...

    G6200 wiring info

    You can temporarily put a jumper in line at the switch to replace it and trouble shoot the "real" problem. you might get your test light out to follow the wires to find the problem. It worked from the factory, it can again with a little patience and thought. Let us know back what you find.

    Start Switch

    Ron gave you some good advice but, make sure you do both ends of both cables. If that doesn't do it check, or have checked , your battery for a load test. Batts fail in the heat as they do in the cold too. Let us know how it goes.

    I'm glad you got it going, but I didnt see in your posts anywhere you replaced your starter. Might could have helped quicker if we had known. But, the bottom line is its going. thanks for letting us know what got ya fixed. Stick around be a part of the community.

    Yeah as I said earlier, a buck a pound, new or used is going rate 'round here. But, 55's are hard to find here, wheel weights are like finding hens teeth.

    Tractor Gun !!??

    When ever I'm out on the tractor I usually have a little "sumpthin" tucked in the belt that'll make a big bang. It'll handle from a snake to a deer with no problem. Come to think of it, thats really not any different from any other day. I've always got "sumpthin" on me all the time.

    I know another member had a thread here a few weeks ago and even named a tine supplier that I think was a lot less than that each. He even noted about the chain service and bearing work to. Take a look maybe you can find it. I'll look to and update this with a link if I find it.
