    '95 b7100 hst

Looks like a great tractor and set up! You will have a lot of fun and get a lot of work done. The B7100 is a very capable tractor for its size. You have a similar set up to me, but I have a B219 loader and gear drive.

    Help! Off road logging tractor?

I've got a B7100, 4wd and a Yamaha Big Bear 400, 4wd. It is not even close in pulling power and which one can do the most work. The B7100 winds hands down. The build difference between the 2 is substantial as well. The ATV is much lighter components. Over working an ATV is going to get expensive...

    Help! Off road logging tractor?

In my opinion an Argo would be a poor choice. From what I have seen, their is not much for ground clearance under them. If you have stumps, debri and bogs, you may have issues getting hung up. I used to use a tractor exclusively for hauling deer and putting up stands, but I find that an ATV...

    Help! Off road logging tractor?

I've got a B7100, 4wd with R1 tires on it and I have been very impressed with what I can pull with it. I have been able to pull my tower stands around with it, plus pull them up, once in position.

    Tractor keeps dying

Could this be something as simple as the fuel cap vent being plugged?

    gelling diesel tonight

-23F here this morning. Won't be any tractor work going on here today. I can't remember it ever being this cold. I did treat my fuel. I just hope all is well the next time I use it. It is stored in my shed.

    B6100 D650 cooling system

As others have said, the system works fine. I have a 1977, B7100 that uses this system and if the radiator is in good condition and you keep the front screen clear, the system works like it should. One thing you might want to consider though, is to add a coolant temperature gauge. There are...

B7100 with 48" King Kutter brush hog

Thanks everyone! That helps. I just read another interesting thread about fully threaded vs. non threaded bolts and their strengths...with threaded bolts shearing easier. I may just try to find grade 2, fully threaded bolts to use instead of the standard style bolt. I'd feel better if I sheared...

B7100 with 48" King Kutter brush hog

But, when a shear bolt shears, doesn't it shear at the 2 ends (just inside the bolt head and just inside the nut), vs. in the middle? Would a cut around the middle help me here?

B7100 with 48" King Kutter brush hog

I have used a 48" brush mower on my B7100 for several years now. It does a great job and in my opinion, the implement is not oversized. I simply put the tractor in low and 1st gear, if I have some thick brush to go through. The mower has a grade 2 shear bolt, which I have never sheared. Since...

    B6000 Slow Bucket Dump Speed

Is there a filter in the system that could be partially plugged? I have had this happen with my FEL, but it sounds like your system is different.

*Hello there* says my new B7100 (not HST)

Congrats on the purchase. It looks like you have the exact same set up as I do. I have been more than happy with mine. It just got a new clutch installed. I should be good for another 40 years...lol

    Positive Comments about your Kubota

I've owned my 1977, B7100 for several years now. I am amazed at what this little tractor can do and how it has held up over the years. It starts right up, even in the winter, doesn't leak a drop of anything. It has been one of my wiser purchases.

    life is fleeting 2

I am so sorry to hear about this. It is a situation many of us will have to face. All we can do is make the best of it. 48.5 years is a long time to be married. I hope to get there some day. Just keep loving and making memories together and lean on friends and family. That is what they are...

    B7100 Seat Pad?

I don't remember the Messick's part number off hand, but I don't recall the seat assembly being that expensive. I thought it was like $75-$80...several years ago. I think I found it....https://www.messicks.com/part/66711-45900/seat

    B7100 Seat Pad?

I ordered a complete seat from Messicks a few years back. Attached is what they sent me. My tractor is up by my cottage. I will be up there this weekend, if you want me to look at anything closer.
