Borrowing a subsoiler (single tine ripper) with pipe laying attachment

Supposedly about 10-12". I blow out all my underground lines and then fill with Rv antifreeze, so that should be fine for a water line. It is just to water gardens around the property.

Borrowing a subsoiler (single tine ripper) with pipe laying attachment

Very true. I do sometimes regret selling something, only to need it once again. But, always an option.

Borrowing a subsoiler (single tine ripper) with pipe laying attachment

The trenchers at HD are manual drive. You have pull them backwards. I just found one that is hydraulic drive, but what a mess it leaves in the yard. The subsoiler will cut a nice gap, lay the piping and electrical in it and will just need some rolling flat to get it to be as good as new...

Borrowing a subsoiler (single tine ripper) with pipe laying attachment

Hello All. Curious whether someone local to central Massachusetts has one of the single tine rippers with pipe laying attachments that I could borrow. Seems like a waste to buy something for 30 minutes of work, but can't find anywhere to rent one. I just want to lay water line and...

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Added a small toolbox to hold hand tools and shear pins for the blower, not that I have had to use it yet this year. Took of the cross piece in back, mounted a 3/4" piece of hardwood flooring to give it stability and then mounted it all on. I can open the top of the box without moving the...

Before I tear into it.....BX Series Power Bagger

I have been thinking about cutting apart my rear power bagger setup and making it more 3-pt compliant on the BX. Anyone who's ever dealt with one knows how unfriendly they are to hook up and unhook. I saw the new design for the BXs and I have to say, it seems better, but still, you have to...

any LED replacements for OEM kubota headlight bulb?

When I tried replacing my headlight bulbs with the LED 1156 bulbs from Walmart, they flickered really really bad. Like strobe lights. I have no idea whether it was those bulbs or maybe that we have charging dynamos, not a regulated alternator. I returned them. Post if you have any different...

2-3 ft of snow to much for blade

I have a 50" blower on the front of my BX2200. I'll take on 30" of snow with ease. I have seen the rear snowblowers have more problems than the front. I think it is multiple issues against them. They seem to be built much bigger, heavier, slower rpm so slower momentum. My front, I run wide...

Income Taxes - I Learned Something!!

I pay for my boat dock in the spring, and yard preps for the year, so I use the IRS as my Spring Christmas Club. This way, I don't spend it on something else and have to come up with $6,000 in the spring. It just works for me.

Possible BX1800 purchase, and will the deck fit?

yes, that deck will fit, as others have said. I have a BX22 and for some reason the original owner bought a 48" deck from the BX15/18 to put on it. I am not going to change it for a lousy 6" or 12" difference. Just can only imagine that he had a clearance issue somewhere on his property to fit...

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Man, You are going to Love that snow blower. I couldn't believe the difference compared to 22 h.p. gas walk behind. I was amazed. Hope you are too.

So show us a pic of your BX ready for another wild winter

I'm still taking leaves and brush to the town composting pile today. I will post again after I switch everything over. What a warm November we are having up here in New England!! Only pulled my jacket out of the closet three days ago.

    Snow blower

I want to ask about the condition of the blower. If the bearings are shot, as soon as you put snow against them, they will no longer run true (in a circle) and start to score against their carries. Same thing in the gear box. If the gears are binding up, you will be fighting an unwinnable...

    BX22 MMM Height Control knob

The knob goes from Top down in 1/2" increments down from 4" to 0". The arrow sticker is on Top right now in this picture and is oriented towards the rear of the tractor. Rotate clockwise until you stop, and then move the 3-pt up and go another click. Keep doing this until the mower lowers to...

    Gas can "parts"

Sure you can. They even have a link for people who live in your state. It is classified as a water spout.....but it is the same product.

    Gas can "parts"

http://ezpourspout.com/ I bought a couple of spouts to be able to pour out of the new garbage-safety valve cans. Awful. the safety spouts leaked more fuel then if I was pouring straight out of the can and spilling it. The EZ-Pour spouts are flawless. They fit the new cans. I also put in...

    Fueling my L3800 sucks !

I have to admit, I did not read all 12 pages, but i wanted to add a suggestion if it has not already been mentioned. I have both the No-Spill brand and the typical piece of garbage EPA regulated nozzle cans. The No-Spill cans are great, but to make them better, put in a vent hole. You can buy...

Any way to go to the new message in a thread

Yes, I know of the New post, but when I click it, it still goes to post #1 in that thread. If you switch it newest first, it goes to, say, post #500, though on my last logon I read up to post #450. Now, I have to read backwards chronologically, till I get back to the oldest post that I hadn't...
