    Joining the club

Two things I wished that I had bought the first day that I bought my house....my Kubota and my dump trailer. I've built up a lot of muscle and torn apart a lot of them I am sure, but since the purchases, productivity and my wife's Honey-do-List has grown substantially. Welcome to the Orange...

    Glad it helped.

    mmm drifting down

The 3pt cylinder lifts the MMM deck. The cylinder will of course bleed down with weight on it. I personally think three days is very acceptable. To prevent previously mentioned wear, which I have no idea if it would actually shorten life span of the lift cylinder's o-ring and backing ring, I...

    BX2200 3 pt hitch issue

Hi Dave, and welcome. The first thing with that knob is making sure when you turn it, it turns the shaft, and not just the plastic knob on top. It is notorious for cracking and then just spinning on the shaft. Remove the knob and turn with a pair of vice grips, or the like. See if that helps...

    Tractor Supply Sale?

As RCW pointed out, the lower pins are in a terrible position. I lowered mine 3" and moved it forward (towards the tractor) 3/4-1". Those are 1" holes for those pins, so drill bits, a good 1/2" drill, and prayers that you don't rip you wrists off when the bit catches are in need. Good luck.

BX2230 3pt does not stay up all the way

Not sure how old your tractor is, but it could be a few different things. I had to replace the 3pt cylinder o-ring and backer plate. I have 35 gallons of water on a 3pt carry-all with pressure treated lumber. 285+86+(~)40 lbs = 411 lbs. I can lift it to height, but it will drop slowly, maybe...

What stupid thing have you done today

Skeets, I did this same thing a couple years back. At my house, a total of 31 trees dropped. The big oaks 85'+ were dropped by my friend's tree biz but I did the smaller ones and all the post work of bucking and chopping and splitting. No issues, no injuries. 17 cords. Got a call from my...

Regard to check chains or 3 pt stabilizers

Just so everyone knows, I heard from Mark (Hodge) and he is no longer doing the adjustable links. Didn't want him to start getting hit with a bunch of emails because of this threads re-awakening. Thanks.

    BX2200 Starting procedure

In warm weather, the first start of the only, i hold the glow plug on for 3-4 seconds then turn to start. Keeps down on the smoke quite a bit by doing this. When cold, ie: below 30-40 F`, I will hold for 8-10 seconds. Starts right up all the time. Smoke should only be for and instant to 1...

    Front end loader

At idle, I am probably around 30-40 seconds for full lift. Bring it up a 1000 rpm and it drops to around 10. Also, when I swapped out my hydraulic connectors, I went with the Tractor Supply stocked ones. They have much bigger ports on them, and boy did it speed up everything moving. Lift...

    Carry All Build

Built mine similar to the rest. I attached a tank for spring planting so I could have water wherever I needed it as we planted out gardens. 12v pump running off an aux source on the BX powered the 5gpm of spray power. Perfect for working around the house where I don't have a hose source...

    Bx2230

To answer your question that you asked twice: No. Without knowing what you are engaging, I can't tell if it the implement or pto that has a problem. Does it do it when nothing is attached to either mid or rear pto shafts?

    Fall Foliage

If you get a chance to try a apple cider slushy, try it. It is uniquely delicious! I know they have it at the Red Apple Farm in Phillipston, MA, off of scenic Rte. 2. Rte 2 is beautiful ride from NY going east into MA. Above it is Rte 9, in VT, take that going East to West. Gorgeous roads...

    Kubota Bagger no suction

On comparison of the two pics, the impellers look the same. I am thinking it has to be a speed thing for the impeller. That is the only thing that makes sense to me.

    Kubota Bagger no suction

The amount of suction for this unit is not like the cyclone rake, but still, definitely more powerful than what you are experiencing. I can rake leaves near the end of the chute and it will suck them in a shred them. Unless I mow too fast, it will always pull the grass up and out into the bag...

++++ SOLD ++++ I put up this Craigslist posting for anyone who might be interested in the area. I am in Massachusetts. Property is just too tight for turning. This is a Kubota BX Series PTO driven power bagger. This hooks onto the 3pt without having to remove arm or hard-fixing it to the...
