How much for a rebuild kit? eBay has kits for my D600's for about $500. Sounds like a fun tinker project that has no deadlines. Anyways, I'd personally do whatever I could not to scrap it or at least keep it for parts.

You could add cruise control that will put a lever right next to the seat. Should be about $150-$200 from the dealer. Won't help you with reverse though.

Just as the title says. I found myself removing and reinstalling 3 others over the summer issue free and this one snapped on my $500 G5200. It looks to be made of aluminum so drilling out what is left and then re tapping the hole seems like the cleanest way. I am waiting on the part to come in...

That quick hitch in your photos appears to be Kubota blue? Very nice. Not sure why Land Pride doesn't include that color in their QH lineup.

I'd prefer to run a "diesel oil" in an older engine. Higher zinc levels as well as being a more stout oil.

I do my best to stay out of oil related threads now, but this is wrong information. Some diesel oils, Delvac and Delo to name a few, are gas rated. Other "gas oils" actually have diesel ratings on them as well.
