    Did the rubber mounts come with the tank? Would think having all the weight spread across the base be better than having 4 point loads. Granted only about 100lbs per mount, which those tabs should handle easily.

    Yes, 2x3. One thing I noticed shortly after getting my l3301, the ROPS is asymmetric. The verticals are just ever so slightly different in the lower forming. Perhaps even making the ROPS a hair off center.

    I have a G5200, same mower with a 3 cylinder. It has never screeched when PTO is engaged. I never engage PTO at full throttle. Do it at half, then power up. My first inkling would be the belts slipping on the pulleys. I am thinking mine are cloth covered. A failing bearing or U-joint, or...

    Spot on....wish I had done this instead. When turning torso to right in order to look behind, 3pt lever is now just barely reachable. A future mod to correct a mod is in order.

    Shorten joystick throw

    One of first mods I did on my 3301 was cut 2" off that stick. I felt like it was pointing right in my face. Did same to 3pt lever too. My knee kept hitting it. The trick to removing the knobs is to place a blow gun right on that little hole and hit with 90psi while pulling off.

    Yup, employed same method as well...lost less than 2pts. The larger issue some folks encounter is breaking loose the factory filter with the first change. Between the death‐grip tightening and the paint sealing to the housing, it can be a challenge.

    If not already using them, recommend 6-point socket over a 12-point on lug nuts. Less chance of rounding them off. Breaker bars & impacts make it easy for that to happen.
