    L01 series toolbox

I seen this a while back. I'd be interested in just the tray. But regardless, be handy for pistol, knife, gloves, phone, lighter, snack....you know, the basics.

    Gasoline dispensing hose.

It is 10gl. Think my repair of nozzle will do the trick. Funny you mention the auto shut off...mine on the diesel tank is acting up. I need to look at it to see if repairable.

Hmm...had not thought about those...very interesting....

    Gasoline dispensing hose.

Here is the setup. Paid $35, and was only 15min drive from work. Came with 2.5gl of some nasty old gas. Talk about stink. And its fair share of sludge, varnish and rust. The nozzle had been nearly flattened by being run over. But I knew it was all salvageable. Dumped in a quart of acetone...

    Gasoline dispensing hose.

Correct, using Gates automotive fuel hose. I thought about garden hose and even air compressor fittings. But decided against, as any plastic or rubber used in these likely would not hold up long term. Think will try hydraulic fitting and see how goes. Again, this is all home use application...

    Gasoline dispensing hose.

Since getting a 50gl diesel transfer tank and pump for fueling tractor and mower, fueling is now world's better. To further streamline things, I have purchased a smaller tank (10 gl) for my gasoline powered equipment. Just a gravity feed that has a 10' x 1/2" hose. I want to make the...

    PFL1242 vs. PFL2042 for a Kubota L2501 Tractor

I have same loader and the 2042 forks....more handy than pockets on a shirt. Will easily lift 900-1000lbs to trailer height (<24"). But you got to be mindful of where/how weight is distributed, keeping as much as possible toward the rear against the headache rack. There are other means to...

    New seat on G5200

The seat on the G5200 was getting tired, specifically the metal pan was cracked and broken. The vinyl I had replaced 15 years ago was still in good shape, so i kept it for some future use. Scored a seat for a BX series (I think) and installed it this morning. Had to make a sub-frame to adapt...

    G5200 Mower Deck RC 48 G

Bending that radius in 12ga sheet metal was no easy task. Had wanted to do as 1pc, however the method I used didn't allow it....had to split the patch.

Me too....about 15 miles north of Edwardsville out in the sticks.

    G5200 Mower Deck RC 48 G

When arms are lowered and held in place by the control lever, they should be low enough to insert pins without much effort other than sliding deck slightly to line up holes. Accessing that lifting spring is not an easy or viable option for deck attachment. Yup, I had to do some rot repair on...

    G5200 Mower Deck RC 48 G

Sounds like you have the manual lift (non-hydraulic). There is a rather beefy spring that aids in lift force, in addition to the manual lever. With no weight (no deck) on the spring, you have put a fair amount of effort on that raise/lower lever to get those lift arms down. My order of...

    Yet another grill guard post

Good job. Welds look fine. I would weld some flat bar across the top. Lots of sharp edges there....my shirt or skin would find those real fast!

    GM trailer light hookup nightmare.

Sounds like van is a 3 wire stop/tail/turn system, and trailer is 2 wire system that combine the stop & turn. A converter will solve that.

Is there a snow ploy for my G5200?

Found it! 5"x6"x3/16" plate, with 3x3OD X 3/32 tube. 7/16" mounting holes. A 7/8" ball hole, exactly 5" & 1" OC from the ends. Again, it would need spacers or a hole bored to clear a plug in bottom of axle housing. I would wager there is supposed to be a rubber bushing between the u-channel...

Is there a snow ploy for my G5200?

I will find that rear bracket and photo it...its in the shed somewhere. I never used it because it would not mount on bottom of axle housing due to a drain bolt in the way. Spacers would solve that, or boring a clearance hole. The factory ball mount already had the clearance hole, and the...

Is there a snow ploy for my G5200?

This is the bracket I made from some L-angle. The vertical channel on the plow frame rests against plate when plowing. You can see where paint has rubbed off between the two bolts. I think the factory bracket might have a tongue that extends down to add additional surface area, but I didn't...

    hydraulic hose protectors with velcro

Might search out a wire organizer for A/V use. I have one that is a black nylon mesh with a zipper down the side. Almost looks like a shedded snake skin. Have seen some videos of folks making DIY protective looms from thin wall irrigation tubing and spiral cutting with a simple jig.
