Well for the time being you may be right, I did just buy a new switch for fifty bucks. But now I have a spare that I can definitely play with and see if I can crack open.

Picked up some decals from the sign shop that I created, now I have to get the hood prepped and painted :D Got a couple installed But the biggie was the test drive, 8 forward gears, 2 reverse gears, and 4 PTO speeds :) :mad: Could only go 10 feet forward and back in the shop...

STARTED IT :) I've been working on it since mid-november cleaning painting replacing excetera. 10 seconds on the glow plugs after bleeding the filter and injector pump, she fired right up. So so happy the end is in sight :D

Installed the new (fabbed) battery tray, it is not perfect but once there is a plastic liner and battery in it, it will look fine, better than the corroded one. Looked over the new (to me / used) front bumper, need to get going on repainting it.

Not sure, but if it is the same as the 225DT.... Between the release bearing and the clutch fingers is 2.5-3.0 mm / 0.098-0.118" Between clutch fingers and flywheel surface is 57mm / 2.25"

Finally got to get some work done on " ??? " , still working on a name for her. Did some more fab work on the replacement battery tray, cut it down to the correct size and welded it up (ugly I know) added the hood supports an it got a coy of paint Still needs some "cosmetic" work so it looks...

Well a key switch is not $100 but first I'll tear it down and try the fix-it thing.

Tried that, and graphite first, Nothing Also tried that. If I remember, one of the screws on one of the switches would not come loose to save my life, and it twisted, the whole connector, may have been this one? It worked fine before I re-did my harness, I may have screwed it up :eek:

So once again, I am baffled put my dash on the tractor today pulled out the key put it in the key switch, I swear this used to be a 4 position switch I can only turn the key to one position now. What in the world would make a switch not go to the other two positions, which are the low and high...
