L2000 Gearbox Rebuild

Hi Guys,

I inherited an L2000 that had the gear box stripped down. I have finally sourced the required parts to start putting it back together but would like to make sure I am putting together correctly.
Is there a parts breakdown on the L2000 gearbox? I have the L225 but would prefer the right one.
If anyone can point me in the right direction I would really appreciate it.

It's highly unlikely that you will find a WSM or any rebuild specific info for the L2000.

This may help a bit, a WSM for a L225DT will also help a bit (did for me)
although it is not exactly the same it is helpful.

I was able to pick up a Japanese parts manual translated it was good enough to put it together with.

Any idea what the cutch pressure plate clearance is suppose to be?
I put a new clutch plate in but not enough adjustment in the Clutch - Looks like I need to adjust the Pressure plate.

Not sure, but if it is the same as the 225DT....
Between the release bearing and the clutch fingers is 2.5-3.0 mm / 0.098-0.118"
Between clutch fingers and flywheel surface is 57mm / 2.25"
