    Blown hose, replacement confusion

Off the shelf is still going to be much cheaper than custom made -- Kubota or NAPA

Does the Lube Shuttle pistol grip give you enough pressure for the loader pins?

LockNLube Grease Gun Coupler - Worth The Price ?

How do you guys with (one) electric grease gun handle the different grease specs? Do you have a separate gun for the loader pins/moly or do you just put non-moly EP in everywhere? (I've always been a "grease is grease, use whatever is in the gun" guy and am considering being reformed)

and you might just learn a bit more about using a backhoe by watching/helping him!

I am not a fan of green tractors, but a good dealer is a huge factor to consider. The Kubota dealer isn't going to be any nicer after he has you money.

    Winter Front on a budget....

My Ford cold front was a dog food bag bungeed across the grill. It was blue and white. Some years it even ended up rightside up.

New Grease Gun On The Way.

Question for you guys saying that the LNL fits all the zirks on the loader, PTO shafts, etc.: are you referring to the regular ($30) LNL tip or the "extra long" ($40) tip? I can see where the XL might be too long for some applications, but am not sure that the regular one will get into, for...

    54" VS 60" FEL Bucket

I agree with this. I put an 8 ft bucket on my (7' wide) 3020. I bumped into lots of stuff, and I would have been better served by the 7 foot bucket. My initial thought was "bigger is better" and if I needed to dig a path through deep snow I could drive the tractor through the gap I cut.

What Is Correct Procedure / Bucket Position When Parked In Garage

Mine sit for awhile too, especially in the winter. It had already been welded a few times when I got it, but my JD bucket wasn't in the best shape when I got rid of it. This is the first winter with the Kubota so I"m going to try to make sure snow doesn't sit in it between uses.

Thanks. We've had minus 30 F a few times lately, but -40 shouldn't be an issue.

What Is Correct Procedure / Bucket Position When Parked In Garage

I wish I had cement to put it down on. I do have a couple of cinder blocks that I set it on in the barn. Mainly so I have a mark to help me get close to the wall without hitting it. I need to remember to tilt it down now that winter is here, so that if we have a warm day the snow will slide out...

    HST Transmission Oil

Yeah, I was mainly wondering about condensation with air in the jug and temp swings. I can keep it in the house, I guess. Then it would actually pour if I had to add some on a below 0 day. Thanks,

    Tractor sizing

I really like what Paul L said, especially about the size. I just bought my Kubota to replace a JD 3020, which had the power I needed, but was too darn big for my small property and a have a Ford 4000 which is the perfect size, but I couldn't (easily) put a loader on it. After having the JD...

    HST Transmission Oil

Possible Thread Highjack: Is there a problem with keeping a partially empty 5-gallon jug of S-UDT around, given temperature swings of +90 to -20? I just got my 2012 HST, and don't need any fluid but want some on hand for when it does. I'm not anticipating a fluid change $oon, so will...

Intermittent slow loader. 3-point works fine (maybe)

I was hoping it might be a linkage issue--the rubber boot that covers the opening for the joy stick was off when I looked at the tractor, and then again when it was delivered. Maybe somebody was messing in there (or maybe I didn't get it back on very well). I have a kubotabooks WSM for the...
