    In searc of a manual

Sometimes you can go to a mfr for a replacement manual, but cushman has been bought and sold, so many times, I can't remember who owned it when. If I were looking, I would go to a golf course equipment dealer, and just ask if they have any of the old manuals that you could copy. Sometimes they...

    Slasher ( bush hog) Help

Darren take another look at the picture, pretty sure that's a bush hog type mower. Just doesn't have the stump jumper, just a blade bar. He might be able to get the blades off, by wedging a 2X4 against the side panel, and turning the nuts off of the blade bolts, from underneath...:D:D

    Oh nuts

On my A/C's, they have spin out rims, with rail clamps. VERY used to correcting that noise... Good thing you caught it...:D:D

    Slasher ( bush hog) Help

I would say those blades are close to the replace me now condition. End should be square. Can't tell from the small picture, but most blade carriages of this type have blades that are supposed to swing, so there is some "give" in case you hit something. Some models have a hole in the deck...

Always remember to chock the downhill front wheel, on a trailer, when loading and unloading equipment. It will save you a Missouri boat ride... Here's 2 good lessons: https://youtu.be/3c4Z8MNmlA8 And the definition of a Missouri boat ride: https://youtu.be/t-KEnU9TBmQ

L2002DT - not starting - now banging my head against a wall!

Get yourself an IR laser thermometer, and use it to check each glow plug. If all are good, they will show nearly the same temp, which will be more than the regular ambient temp of the head. If there is a bad one, it will of course show a lower temp. Also check that the buss bar is connected...

    Daily Chuckle

Was up in amish country today, at an auction. The auctioneer's dad was tellin amish jokes, lets see if I can remember some of them: 3 amish women were digging potatoes, and one of them came up with 2 big potatoes, held them up, and said, these remind me of my jakey. One of the others said...

    L2250 spun bearing/rebuild

I'm not so sure that it's "not that bad". It doesn't take much non lubricated wear to mess up a crank. Not real sure what undersize bearings are available, either. Wait till your machinist get it cleaned up, mic'd, and tells you how much he has to take off, then talk with parts man, and see...

FS1020 how to check the oil?

3/4 full is fine on most tiller drop chain boxes. When you run it, check for a leak at the bottom bearing. IDK what gear oil you are using, but the thicker it is, the less it will leak. You can always get some JD cornhead grease, and ad that, if the leak is bad...:D:D

I want to even out my yard - what attachment to do it

Mine was about 5 grand, when I bought it from the dealer. It was a demo unit, and had a couple hours on it. But it is invaluable, in my business. What it doesn't rake out, it buries. Unfortunately, that goes for Fios and cable TV lines, invisible dog fences, too:D:D

I want to even out my yard - what attachment to do it

I use one of these: https://youtu.be/os2rnm4tml0 Might be cheaper to rent one than buy one. The combination of a tracked machine, and a HR is day and night different, than mounting a HR on the back or front of a wheeled machine...:D:D As far as prep goes, I'd take it a bite at a time, IN THE...
