    Need L3130 Operator Manual

Try searching kubotabooks, lots of times other models will suffice. Here's a link to the WSM, better squirrel it away now for future reference www.kubota.cz/data/manualy/l-30-wsm-en.pdf

    Hydraulic filter

What you have to remember is these machines/engines are designed to be worked. 400 hours is 17 days use in the real world where machines are used every shift, or where the engine is driving a genset 24/7. 50 hours is 2 days, it hasn't done anything at all. 400 hours equates to a truck doing 60...

    Oil types

Kubota UDT or SUDT, or something that meets UDT the spec like mobilfluid 424, and if you cant get that or something that meets the spec, any universal tractor (UTTO) transmission oil, generally a 10-30 (straight hydraulic generally an ISO 46) grade IIRC. Every manufacturer calls for a particular...

    BX2360 nearly overheating issue

A couple of things to consider. When you did your IN/OUT temp readings, was the engine running at full speed? If it wasn't, then your readings are no giving you a true indication as there is significantly reduced air flow through the radiator. Correct me if I'm wrong, I believe your tractor...

    zd28 running rough

So there is a fuel problem, possibly vacuum in tank, reason for running without cap, or possibly filter problem, have you replaced the filter under the mower at the fuel tank outlet as well as the one on top of the engine? Also check your PM's, have sent a link for a WSM

Recomendations for oil psi and water temp gauges

By the looks of it, the gauges that he has fitted are Sunpro and have failed. "LED" gauges should not be affected by cold, and he already has one for Volts. However, I'm not saying the ones I listed are any good, and they may fall apart just as quickly! If you silicone or glue (neutral cure) the...

Recomendations for oil psi and water temp gauges

Perhaps an electrical "Digital" gauge, generally the vibration is what kills them, electrical sender removes a lot of components, digital gauge removes a lot more mechanical components, cheap for a trial, something similar to this, perhaps silicone the components in the back of the gauge before...

So what was done in the partial rebuild?

    zd28 running rough

ZD28 - An easy one to try, sometimes easy ones fix probs, sometimes they don't. Remove the fuel cap and get a rubber band and a rag to cover the hole, this allows air into the tank. Run it like this and see if it still does it.

    ZD321 Won't Turn over/Start

Do any IGN lamps work? Do the headlights work? Possible bad ground or power cable, or safety switch. Check all fuses by removing and re-seating them. Many other possibilities, check these first. Also check engine oil level, not sure if these have an oil cutout switch in the safety circuit as...

    B1550 wont curl

Possibly either air, which should work out, or 2 hoses swapped, so each bucket cylinder is working in opposite directions, and the one with the extension stroke with flow behind the piston (bigger surface area) allowed it to push one way only. Edit: (I'm assuming if you have quick connects that...

    Proper way to bench-test starter?

Previously mentioned in post #2 & post #7, the solenoid circuit is completed through the motor circuit. Perhaps these guys may be able to test/fix it Gwinnett Auto Electric 5378 Buford Highway, Norcross, GA 30071-2602.

Starter solenoid on B6100 - how to disassemble?

If you wish this to survive, I would stop now, and get the motor working first as mentioned in the other post. Once the motor works and has a circuit through it, your solenoid should work. I recommend to forget the starter contacts for now. If you un-solder the pull-in and hold-in coils you may...

    Proper way to bench-test starter?

Clamp the motor and connect negative jumper lead to case. Get positive jumper lead and go directly to main motor wire, which shold be connected to solenoid. Motor should spin. If it doesn't spin, then you have a break in either the field circuit, the armature circuit or the brush connections...

    L1500DT oil light on

He is saying the alum plug is in the end of the camshaft, which falls out and allows oil to leak back to sump and hence low oil pressure. Need to go into engine and repair end of camshaft, ie., replace plug.

L4610 HST which is the pump & which is the motor?

    Hosing off the engine?

Spray on your preferred detergent (degreaser for me) and pressure wash, then leaf blower, then WD40 or similar on bare metal parts. While WD40 attracts dust, it protects and comes off easily next time. It depends if you are pedantic about it looking like a showroom all the time, or just nice and...

    Proper way to bench-test starter?

As starter motors are generally series wound motors, the field winding is in series with the armature, so if a brush is worn or stuck and not contacting the commutator then there is no circuit in the field winding. So you need everything to be good for it to work, field winding, brushes and...

L4610 HST which is the pump & which is the motor?

I'll take a stab in the dark! Can you match the wear on the splines of the pump shaft to the pump motor? I expect the pump will only turn in one direction so would only have wear on the splines on one side whereas I would expect the motor would have wear on both sides. The motor would only have...
