Upon taking my shaft apart I found I have a series 3 shaft and not a series 4. The 4 is 74mm c-clip to c-clip and the 3 is 70mm. A series 3 with a shear bolt is nonexistent. Back to square one...***128530;

I have the single shear yoke comming with new joints. I hope the single bolt don’t shear to easy.

The OEM shear yoke on the 600 series blowers takes (2)-5/16 Grade 8 bolts. Seems like that’s defeating the purpose. Lol.. here’s a pic of the OEM shaft of a friends same blower.

Ok. I checked out Agri Supply. I will call them in the AM and see if they have a Shear pin shaft. I found the yokes with a shear pin but not the entir shaft.

I picked up a used Farm King 600 snowblower, it seems to have a general use pto shaft on it. I need to find a pto shaft with a sheer bolt on one of the knuckles. Anyone have a link to who sells them? I***8217;ve looked at the normals like TSC, and other end Tool with no luck.

Around here in the U.P. They sell both number 1 and 2 fuels. Plus blended fuels. I just picked up number 1 now that we are in the 10-20 degree lows. The book states you can use either fuel.

My BX2670 book calls for 3.7 Qts, it takes 4.5 Qts to get it close to the high mark on the dipstick. The owners manuals also states that the capacity’s listed are only approximate.

My BX as many others I’ve seen are off also. My manual calls for 3.7 QTs and mine takes 4.5 and it’s still not right full.

I bought it with 111 hours on the clock. It’s been this way since I took ownership.

The thing is no matter what, it never reads full. Doesn’t matter if it’s plumb full, or a few inches below the top.

My Fuel gauge will not go over the 2nd to the last bar. There’s one more bar to full and it works when the gauges go through the start up procedure. So even when the tank is filled to the top it’s still one bar down. It seems to work fine as the fuel level goes down and I fill it back up. Anyone...
