    8" backhoe bucket

I drug it out of the shed and took these pictures this morning, and it is indeed a Woods/Gannon bucket. I seem to remember reading here that the Woods brand is highly regarded. I googled around a bit and saw that Titan has them for $179.00, I thought they were worth more! Whether the Woods brand...

    8" backhoe bucket

WOODS brand as I recall, very well built, just like the big ones! I sold my old Kubota tractor with the Kubota hoe and the new tractor doesn't have one, and I don't plan on buying one so this has gotta go. IF you are digging water lines or for conduit, this narrow bucket is just the thing, and...

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

I had a wing tank to replace on my experimental RANS S-7S, which involved taking the wing off, so I took it out of the hangar and into the shop with it's 18' wide door, the and the forks attachment helped.

    Working during break in period

I was waiting for someone to mention that regen thing..... my 3301's regen idiot light forced me to throttle up, until it had, I guess, blew the carbon out. I didn't like it but I also don't worry much about it, these things are designed to be worked hard. 42.1 hrs total time now, first oil...

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

I ended up offering my services to the crew doing the work, I just said that if they had any left over, I'd clean it up and bring the road back up to county specs. I got three loads in the 12' dump trailer, each about all it could handle, what a deal! MAYBE 1/4 mile at most from my driveway...

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Mowed the runway, 400' long and at 5640' elevation, but 12% grade helps make it plenty long enough both landing (uphill) and takeoffs. I'm using the 5' brush hog I used on my smaller tractor, seems like the new L 3301 could easily handle a 6'er?

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

What I DIDN'T do last night was take the dump bed trailer and the L 3301 a 1/4 mile down the dirt road behind my place, to where a contractor has stockpiled about 100 yards of perfect gravel road base. It is being used around a cell tower site another 1/4 mile up the mountain. Man, that gravel...

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

I'm putting in a mountain bike trail on the lower 40, and really appreciated the larger bucket on the 3301 then my past tractor. I had it full of stuff before I thought to take this picture. I have to bridge across the creek in a few places, and am using some scrap steel pipe, thus the need for...

    7 foot Grapple arrived

Nice attachment! It's funny how I used to do everything with my FEL loader bucket, in retrospect, that was because it was all I had on my old tractor. Having the QA on the 3301 is a game changer, and it turns out my 48" forks are my new best friend. Them and the trailer ball attachment I made...

    Trailering a B2601

That's called a shackle by the way, not sure why but 90 % of people call shackles a clevis. A screw pin shackle to be picky. Crane operator here FWIW. So far the only use for my draw bar on my 3301 is for securing the rear when I transport, I use 5 screw type binders as I have to drive down a...

    My office today

What I see a lot that strikes me as funny is when a kid climbs out of a machine like that. My neighboring mountain fields are family owned, and they put all the kids to work as soon as they can reach the pedals, teenagers anyway. Girl teenagers, and they put in some long hours too. On the...

Added eye bolts to mower deck

The chains are for what? Lifting it for storage? My mower deck is the last implement I have yet to figure out a trick way to store, as I just reorganized my storage area for them and saved tons of room. Good to know about the leakage out the vent, storing vertical could still work if the vent...

    -20 windshield washer fluid

That's a great price. I paid right at $100.00 for a 55 gallon drum of the stuff, but I got a nice new plastic drum as a bonus I can and am using for other things.

New use for old tractor trailer

Yeah I had thought about just making it gravity feed to the washer, but the instructions make a pretty big deal about not running the pump dry, ever. With that RV pump I have a 35 lb. pressure all the time, (hard to imagine gravity not working... I just didn't have a bottom outlet tank on hand)...

New use for old tractor trailer

Yeah I had thought about just making it gravity feed to the washer, but the instructions make a pretty big deal about not running the pump dry, ever. With that RV pump I have a 35 lb. pressure all the time, and the pump can put out almost double what the washer consumes. When I haul this into...

    tractor transport trailer for sale

No longer for sale, I decided it's too handy and am keeping it!

New use for old tractor trailer

I built this little open frame trailer specifically to haul around my since sold older and smaller Kubota, and at one point even made a feeble effort to sell it here. Since I bought a 12' dump bed trailer to haul the new one around, I didn't think I'd need it, wrong. For hauling several yards...

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

I unloaded another 800 lbs of angle iron off my one ton's lumber rack. SO easy now with the extra height and capacity (and forks)I have on the L 3301 as compared to my earlier smaller tractor, that didn't have the reach. What would have been a half hour of hand labor took about 30 seconds...

    small lifting crane

On a related subject, I noticed my 48" forks tip can reach 13' high, with the FEL all the way up and curled a bit. I have a hole burned in the end of one fork, and a short length of chain with a grab hook in it, so I have a good way to pick..... whatever. Keeping in mind the obvious center...

    Storing implements

Having angle iron left over from the packing crate from Titan, I eyeballed my other outbuilding and decided I could also do better there in how I was storing my unused implements. Having the forks and the QA is a game changer, it is so easy to lift and put things where you want, the only thing...
