TSC called it a single shank subsoiler. I bought it back in '94(?) to trench my rain leaders in. After a couple passes it wasn't too hard to shovel the loose dirt out of the trench. The ground is dry and hard now, so I used it Monday to loosen up some dirt for fill needed for a project. It's one of those things that can be buried in the weeds and pressed into service once every two or three years.

Some times it's nice to have a little help when things get heavy.
Chim,

Those subsoilers are handy. We came across a one bottom plow also and both make great ditches quickly. The smaller (subsoil type) we have is more like a chisel tip and it made nice narrow digging for some brick edging my wife put in.

The one bottom dug 3 nice ditches in about 15 minutes to drain water away from out driveway. When not being used, it's great yard art.

These are easy to adapt to pipe-layers, no need to dig, just use flex pipe and lay out yards upon yards of the stuff...

Probably going to be my next implement.

The Ford tractor it's being mounted on isn't much bigger then a BX, looks like an old 10 series Ford. 1210 or 1310

Right you are! It's a 1210 that came here to replace an old Cub 154 LoBoy back around '92 and never left. It's surprisingly capable for such a small package.
