    Tractor advice for hunting land

Jeremy - I have an M5-111 but want a smaller Kubota with a backhoe as well so I was considering a B2650 a B3350 and an L3901. My dealer has flat out told me he will not sell me a B3350 due to all the problems he has experienced with this specific model. So I am now between a B2650 and an L3901.

    Need an additional Smaller Bota...

Stmar...I watched Messicks video on the B vs. L and noticed his pointing out that the B was considered deluxe (controls in better spots, no hump in middle to step over) -- while the L was more of an "economy offering" ? (controls in less desirable locations, large hump in middle to step over...

    Need an additional Smaller Bota...

Mike -- that is a good point and yes more of an on and off for smaller jobs...definitely will NOT be doing a cab allowing for quicker easier on and off -- I have the Cab with heat/AC/Stereo on the M5. Just concerned the B2650 wont have the HP to pull a bogged down box scraper or a grading...

    Need an additional Smaller Bota...

I think the L3901 would be the Biggest I'd want to go, remember Ive got an M5-111 that will more than lift anything I need to do. This second machine is to do smaller jobs...to jump on and off of quickly -- but still be able to handle a box blade or lift smaller loads.. Right now I'm torn...

    Need an additional Smaller Bota...

I pretty recently bought an M5-111 with FEL and a land pride 8' mower and a 15' batwing mower. Love the machine. I need another Kubota, but smaller... Id like a second and smaller machine to be able to jump on and off of (no cab) to handle smaller tasks..quickly grade some gravel drive, mow a...

    Grease guns and grease

Since I do have two pretty large Land Pride mowers (15 ft batwing and 8' tow behind mower) to also service with Grease -- and may not always want to drag those over to the pole building to have to use the air compressor run grease gun - anyone have a recommendation on the best 18volt or 20volt...

    Grease guns and grease

I do have a nice compressor so I'll likely go with the one 85hokie suggested with the lock n load tip How do I get a meter on this one so I don't pump in too much grease? Or maybe the better question is-- how do I know how much grease I've put in and how much is SUPPOSED to go in ? Thanks...

    Grease guns and grease

It was suggested to me by an unnamed tractor mechanic to get an "electric grease gun"...? can someone elaborate and give opinion ? and how the electric one differs from the one 85 Hokie recommended..ohh and something about getting a gauge for the grease gun to see how much has been pumped in ...

    Grease guns and grease

Hi Forum, Took delivery a couple weeks ago on my new Kubota M5-111 as well as a Land Pride RC4615 and a Land Pride RCF3696. I'm not real good at mechanical stuff, but want to take care of this equipment. Any recommendations on a good grease gun - guessing I'd need something more than jump a...

    Cast Wheels VS. Non Cast

Ok so I feel like a getting a bit of confusion from a dealer on what wheels and tires are on an M5 I'm getting... Dealer says the M5 has CAST wheels on it...but when I look at the build sheet on it the wheels section says: REAR - 420/85R34 R1W Alliance 385 Radial inc. But when I go on Kubota...

    RCR2596 and the RCF3696...

GaBota...yes, but my question is -- does the heavier duty 3696 give a worse finish cut in just grass..? it appears even though the 3696 is heavier duty - it has same blades as the 2596 -- so should give same "finish cut" in grass - but ability to go into heavier stuff if needed...? You see it...

    RCR2596 and the RCF3696...

GaBota....will I get any nicer of a "finish" to the cut with the 2596 versus the 3696 ? Based on what I read it doesnt seem like it -- as they appear to have the exact same blades -- its just the 2696 just is more heavy duty with heavier duty gear boxes and etc. -- just in case you want to put...

3 point Versus Tow Behind Versus Semi-Mount

Thanks UpNorth -- valid point on the ability for a tow behind to "float" -- although its my understanding that on the M5-111 even on the 3 point setup -- it can be set for the mower to "Float" for uneven ground ? Do I have this wrong? I also thought that by going the 3 point route that if you...

3 point Versus Tow Behind Versus Semi-Mount

Hi All... Adding an 8 foot Land Pride RCF3696 to the lineup... Whats the forums experience on running: a 3 point hitch mount vs a town behind vs a semi-mount... Concerned about the extra wear and tear on the tractor using a 3 point..but also the 3 point would seem much more manuverable than a...
