    L4060 or L3901...ready, set, go...

Ortimber...do you think there is enough difference in size and etc between my M5 and the L4060 that Im not too close to overlapping with similar sized machines ? I know the HP much different, guess I mean more in terms of actual physical size of the machine - length, width etc.? The actual...

    L4060 or L3901...ready, set, go...

Teg - yes, My M5 is a beast and too big for everyday work which is why I want something a little smaller but still very capable. I dont have many tight areas to fit into so I think the L4060 is only like 6 inches wider and 12 inches longer than an L3901. Plus I want this L to run a decent...

    L4060 or L3901...ready, set, go...

Lets take price out of the picture..assume you can buy either model tractor for same price...FEL, Backhoe, both models well optioned, etc. etc. -- oh and most importantly, NO CAB...do not want or need a cab. Similar HP machines - L3901 and L4060 -- which would you buy and why..?? Can argue...

    Loader question..LA534A vs. LA525

So I think I am going to say heck with it and skip ordering the L3901 and just go right to the Grand L in an L4060 configuration -- similar HP and PTO power as the L3901...just lots more creature comforts and options..will allow me to get the BH92 backhoe with greater capacity and even a...

calling all BH77 Backhoe Users..L2501/L3301/L3901 / B2650 So Im pretty set on ordering an L3901. With have an FEL and etc. Pretty sure I'd like to add the BH77 backhoe with mechanical thumb as well. My question is: Just how capable is this BH77 backhoe..? Is it heavy duty and capable...

    Backhoe Thumb...

Hi All...so I'm pretty well set on ordering a new L3901 with FEL and several implements and a Backhoe (the BH77 is whats on the L3901)... Seems to me getting a Thumb for the backhoe really increases the uses for the backhoe...so, whats the opinions on the "Mechanical Thumb" from Kubota or an...

    Loader question..LA534A vs. LA525

...still the question remains...even if only slightly less -- WHY put a slightly less capable loader on a larger more powerful tractor ??? seems crazy.....

    Loader question..LA534A vs. LA525

Riddle me this batman... A smaller B2650 has an LA534A loader with a quoted lift capacity of 1146 lbs. Yet the larger, heavier L3301 and L3901 have the LA525 loader that is quoted with a lift capacity of 1131 lbs. Why is this so ? -- does it have to do with the gpm (flow) of the tractor ? and...

    Stumped...B2650 or L3901

good info Larry -- thanks for the pics -- great looking machine you have there...My M obviously no way around the Regen and even DEF fluid...I've been told the Regen cycle on the L3901 isn't that big of a deal ?? Rev the RPM's and let it do its thing...have I been misinformed ?

    Stumped...B2650 or L3901

I have definitely considered the L2501...but since the machine is the same dimensions and frame as the L3901..if I personally were going to get the L2501, I'd just get the L3901...no difference, just more HP...and costs a few bucks more. My thought has been that I want to go down in size enough...

    Stumped...B2650 or L3901

Yes, agreed - cab is a must - but I have an M5-111 with a cab. For this smaller everyday chore tractor, I specifically don’t want a cab. I want to jump on and off quickly and not fuss with a cab

    Stumped...B2650 or L3901

Having tough time deciding between a B2650 and an L3901. Have a larger Kubota tractor for big jobs. Want a smaller one to use for everyday stuff...scoop gravel, some mowing of fields, run a tiller for deer food plots, run the occasional backhoe, landscape grader, post hole digger... just...
