    M9000 PTO question

I do not know the exact spec but 1/4" sounds like a lot for any shaft/bearing assembly. It the outer bearing pushing against the seal? In other words, did the seal fail from the inside-out

Electrical damage caused by rodent 2004 Kubota B7610

The spades easily remove from the plug with a connector tool or very small screwdriver. Assuming length is not an issue, very carefully and accurately mark the location of all the wires, cut back to good wires all the same length, crimp new spades and click them into the connector. You should be...

Engine will not run with bleeder screw closed.

I have an old Scat Trak skid steer with a V1902. Tank of a little engine but finicky on fuel supply. There is no supply pump (just a primer), and they rely on super clean lines, tank, and filter to get enough suction fuel. I have seen the situation like you have where cracking the bleeder screw...

    Confirm My Hydraulic Analsis Please

Correct. This can be factored in when evaluating how much oil in in the cup.

    Confirm My Hydraulic Analsis Please

This is TOTALLY wrong. I don't know how many times I have seen fluid bypass a in a cylinder. Cylinder position has little to do with this unless the internal cylinder wall is scarred in a specific area. If you worked in heavy industrial maintenance, you would see this often.

    Confirm My Hydraulic Analsis Please

True. But those things are much harder to diagnose versus disconnecting a hose and looking for fluid flow.

    Confirm My Hydraulic Analsis Please

The quick test is to remove one hose and stroke the cylinder until it deadheads on the same end. If the piston seal is leaking, you will see the oil bypassing. It may not be much of a stream (depending on how fast the cylinder is leaking down) but it should be measurable in a cup. Just know...

    Antifreeze

Funny you say that. I asked my BIL who has driven and worked on trucks and equipment all his life. He has small trucking company now. Says all he has ever used in his Freightliners and Peterbuilt's is the green stuff. I know one of his trucks was in the shop last year for a minor overhaul and...

    Antifreeze

Not at all. I was just saying I have never heard of it.

    Antifreeze

I am glad to hear the water is not so hard up north.

    Antifreeze

Sooo, you buy all bottled water for your home? Drinking, cleaning, washing, animals, etc...? Smart, real smart. Not to mention the plastic waste you are creating. Smart, real smart. FWIW, I am north of 250k annually, not including bonus which can be another 50k+. Not that it has anything to do...

    Antifreeze

Haha!!! I grew up on well water. Like I said, I live in the southeast, and, for all intents and purposes, live on a limestone mountain. Filtration and cleaning the water supply has been a way of life, for my own 'filtration system' as well as all of my equipment. If you have been around long...

    Antifreeze

Ah, I see the overly used word 'Organic' has made it even into marketing antifreeze. If 5 years is the window of operation, does it really matter what kind of antifreeze is used? Pretty sure I have never went over three years on any of my equipment. As far as hard water, there are lots of wells...

    M4900 help

Hard to say from my screen, but it does sound like a clutch issue. You really need the manuals (usually a free download with a little online searching). Follow the clutch pedal mechanism. If it is like my M9, there are two screw adjusters just past the pivot point of the pedal. You could try...

Help! Question on kubota m9000 a/c system!

I would expect the dryer to be pretty 'dry'. Just a film maybe since the desiccant should catch the moisture. Excess oil would cause a soluable blockage. 4 or 4.5 ounces in a completely new system sounds about right, 2 to 2.5 ounces setting in the compressor. But not added to an existing system...

    Antifreeze

I Agree. I have never heard of 'special diesel antifreeze'. Ethylene glycol is the tried-and-true green stuff. Dexcool is the orange stuff (which is an A/C Delco trademarked, ethylene glycol-based product. They are not supposed to be mixed because they can create a kind of gel. But I have never...

Help! Question on kubota m9000 a/c system!

Putting the hood back on should direct the air better, especially since there is about an inch gap between the radiator and condenser. I have tried blocking this gap but couldn't tell much difference. Were these pressures when everything was still cool? That sounds like too much oil added...

    M4900 help

If it is started in gear and you let out on the clutch what happens? Does it appear to act the same regardless of the gear? Does it pull? If running and in gear, what happens when you try to slip it into neutral? It could be as simple as a clutch adjustment, or it could be synchronizers in the...

    Power Loss

Have you checked the fuel tank vent lines? Really common for dirt to stop them up causing similar symptoms.

    Power Loss

Especially since you have had fuel troubles before, I would start at the tank and work back. I have seen it twice where trash was up in a fuel line where you could not see it and it would not blow out. Drop the tank, thoroughly clean it out. Fuel line is cheap so replace ALL of them, including...
