New to me TG1860 needs a little brake or hydro adjustment.

So I picked up the TG1860 shown below this past weekend for $2000. Has right around 1100 hours on it. One owner has owned it since 2003. He just put a brand new radiator in it and battery. Not a bad find I don't think. The only thing i noticed when driving it is when I let off the forward or...

In search of a Kubota LA301 loader

So I bought my B2710 without a loader. I kept my eyes peeled on facebook marketplace for a LA402 loader and one finally popped up about 200 miles away. I made a lighting fast deal with the guy and drove out there and picked it up. I still needed the valve and the subframe for the loader which I...

    Fan/Alternator Belt Replacement- B2710

funny you should say that. When I went to put the new belt on I found that the alternator is seized up. So now I’m trying to find a new alternator. When I go on messicks and look Up the alternator part number and find a picture of it it looks completely different than my alternator. What’s up...

    Fan/Alternator Belt Replacement- B2710

Was out doing some mowing with my B2710 when the fan/alternator belt broke. Ordered a new one from messicks. Is there anything I need to keep in mind when I put the new one back on? It looks like there is only 3 pulleys it needs to ride on and the alternator has the tensioner on it. That's about...

    Repair LA 402 Loader Cylinder.

maybe I didn’t get across what I was trying to ask. I plan on taking the cylinders to a shop to have them do the repair work. I’m just asking about taking the cylinder itself off of the loader frame.

    LA402 Loader

The coveted LA 402 loader. They are extremely hard to find in the wild. I happened across mine on Facebook market place. I just extended the search radius to a few hundred miles and searched daily for it. I paid $1500 for the loader without the valve or subframe. I had to order those from...

    Repair LA 402 Loader Cylinder.

I have a loader cylinder that has a decent leak that needs repair. I planned on taking it to a local shop to have them fix the seals. This is my first tractor so I have never done this before. Is it pretty easy to just pop the pins holding the cylinder and disconnect the hoses. Are there any...

    Kubota LA 402 Loader parts

Must be cause it wasn’t that much when I got mine. It was maybe $900. I got the whole valve assembly from messicks. I think that was around $300-$400. I can’t remember now. Yay inflation!!

    Kubota LA 402 Loader parts

I ended up buying all the parts I needed from Messicks. You can make a free account with them then you can go on there and look up your loader and all the parts that go to it and see what you are missing. I ended up talking to them on the phone and make sure I was getting the right thing. After...

Old film on the history of the diesel

Guy I work with converted his Diesel Ram to run on veg oil. He would go to fast food restaurants and take their used oil then refine it so it was clean. He had a tank for veg oil in the bed of his truck so he could just flip a switch to go between using diesel or veg oil. it was pretty cool.

RC72-27B MMM gear box pulley issue

They sent me a diagram with a breakdown of all the parts that needed replaced. It was about 20 things. I think it was $700 in parts. I just had my second kid a couple weeks ago so I don't have the time right now to tear the thing apart and try and get it back together myself.

RC72-27B MMM gear box pulley issue

So I ended up taking the deck to my local Kubota dealer. $1100 to fix it. I guess the previous owner never did any maintenance to it over the last 20 years. At that price I might as well go buy a cheap riding mower for mowing my yard.

    B2710 with bushhog questions

I have a B2710 and just got a brush hog this year as well. I noticed the same thing you are. There should be an area on your bottom links that has holes in it to adjust the length as the link sways side to side. I put a cotter pin in that hole and lock those links so they cant change length if...

RC72-27B MMM gear box pulley issue

I think there was some piece holding the dust cover on. Like a large washer that I wasn’t able to get off. I’ll have to take another look at it.

RC72-27B MMM gear box pulley issue

So I bought my 2710 tractor with MMM last year. Today I went to mow and only the center blade was spinning. I hopped off to check it all out and I can see the PTO spinning but the pulley that is right under the gear box is not spinning. It appears to have a lot of play in the pulley like it’s...

L3901 won’t lift and curl at the same time.

Well apparently everyone agrees here that my buddy doesn’t need to take it to the dealer. It’s definitely an odd function of the loader that he isn’t used to. He had a Ford tractor and loader before this kubota so he is used to how that operated.

L3901 won’t lift and curl at the same time.

Well he says it will do both motions as long as he doesn’t have a load in the bucket. Is that a feature of the low flow hydraulics?
