Hi all!

I've just recently purchased a Kubota B1700 hydro 4wd. It unfortunately didn't have a loader. I've looked into the Westendorf loaders and they're very expensive. Is there anyone here that has one and is wants to part with it? I'm located in Connecticut and will pay for freight shipping if out of state.

Dante,

Welcome to the forum - as you already know, you may be searching for the proverbial needle in a the haystack. But then again anything IS possible. As you already know too - with the loader you will need the entire subframe mounts and all the hydraulics that come with it.

It may be a quicker to find "another" machine that has it all and sell yours. I know that is not what you want to do - but a loader ON a tractor is a lot easier to find than the loader laying around that FITS that specific tractor.

Most of us have been down the road you are traveling - some have had success, some have not.

So I bought my B2710 without a loader. I kept my eyes peeled on facebook marketplace for a LA402 loader and one finally popped up about 200 miles away. I made a lighting fast deal with the guy and drove out there and picked it up. I still needed the valve and the subframe for the loader which I found Messicks had those parts available for purchase. So keep that in mind if you find a loader and are missing some parts check out Messicks.

Follow the advice of 85 Hokie above, unless you are prepared to spend many months, or even years, searching for a specific loader.
Owners with tractor loaders, typically do not separate loaders from their tractors to sell them separately.

Messicks is great! I've ordered parts through them and they get here in lightning fast time!
I'll definitely keep my eyes peeled on Facebook.

Very true. I know there are after market loaders too.

Aftermarket loaders are not equal to OEM loader in many respects.
Example: If you had a choice of a tractor with an OEM loader, or an after market loader for the same price.....
which machine would you pick?

Kubota2000, did you ever find a loader? I'm now in search for the very same thing. I jut bought a B2100 from my kids school as an auction item to raise money, but it had no loader any longer. It seems I can fit a Kubota LA301 or a Westendorf TA-55 loader. Does anyone know if there are any other brand loader options that will fit a B1700/B2100? Let me know your status as I want to make sure you get taken care of before I get any help the group can offer. Thanks!

That's obviously a rhetorical question, but if one does not have access to the factory loader anything is better than nothing. At that point modifications can be made to get the desired result. Not too far back Kubota had others build their loaders and the difference is in the mounting hardware.

I have a complete set-up for loader control for the B3200, including 2 spool valve (YW545-00102), mounting plates, hardware, hydraulic tubing w/banjo fittings. Everything needed except control levers, all brand new, never mounted. Over $2500 from Kubota, $1200 plus shipping. May fit other tractors.

I actually talked to Westendorf about that particular model and they said the entire setup would be over 7k before shipping. :(

In that case, I would just need the subframe and bucket then right? Along with hydraulic hoses too.

Oh definitely the OEM. Are they unequal in terms of lift height, lift capacity, etc?

That is not 100% correct, I have a woods loader that far exceeds in all aspects what the stock loader for it can do.
It was just a better build unit.
