    Safety of zero turn mowers

On my way into work this morning I was listening to a segment on the radio featuring two sit-volleyball players from War Amps. Both young ladies had similar incidents in a short time period with zero turn mowers where they fell forward off the mower and lost a foot. I haven't used one myself...

    What is that thing ?

I always wondered why it was only some of the old B series that had the "bull" ornament.

B2150D lives again, for 5 minutes...

The L245F I rescued from sitting for 5 years had a tank full of sludge and rust. I used brushes and scrapers and a magnet and xylene to get most of it loose and rinsed out.

Adding a FEL to a BX2350 with no Joystick?

https://www.everythingattachments.com/Kubota-BX-Series-Tractor-Loader-p/ans-b2405-ldr.htm They have the loader listed out of stock right now, but it also doesn't come with the joystick.

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Spread 3 loads of crushed granite on the driveway, and a load of wood chips in the horse paddock. Pressure washed the tractor, then my wife had me get it all dirty again filling in some low spots with dirt and cleaning up some deadfall.

What do you use for a welder?

I'm looking for one of those little Hobart Handler 140s as well. I've used a friend's, and they are great little machines.

    A thought for today....

During the sermon, the old cowboy heard something he liked and threw in a "Hallelujah" The minister stopped, heads turned to look, and then the sermon continued on. A little later, there was another part the cowboy liked and he offered a loud "Amen". This continued throughout the sermon...

    Cheap Kubotas

Set up an anonymous account, and start trolling the scammers. Good fun. I love sending them my "wire transfer receipts" - massive files that suck their bandwidth, corrupted files that crash their computers, and Gotcha! pictures. You can lead them on for months with excuses of your own - death...

Govt. Office employees..... global warming and wives

I have worked for several different levels of government and serve in the military. You have a spectrum: good, bad, and ugly. The ugly tend to be management - not leaders. In the army I learned the difference between management and leadership, and in the civil service I have worked for very...

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

The raised beds in the garden are all about 10 years old and rotten, plus I want to build a greenhouse there this spring, so ripped out all the old wood and trucked it over to my burn pile, and then piled all the dirt together and turned it over while added some well rotted wood chips and horse...

    B6000D valve train

In Canada, don't worry about it being "grey" or not, the dealer will help you out. I've seen a little Kubota with rice patty tires at the dealer here once - not sure if it was for sale or in for service, but chances are it was not imported by/for Kubota Canada.

Occasionally engine stalls when depressing foot pedal in forward or in reverse

My neighbour's L3400 seat safety switch quit in the middle of a major snow storm 2 years ago. I bypassed it then as an interim measure, and he's still using it that way.

    Comparing Bucket Tooth Attachments

I have a hardpan rock/gravel property beneath a skim coat of poor soil. I got 4 bolt on teeth from Amazon for $40 and drilled my bucket to mount them. They haven't been removed in more than a year. If I want a smoother finish or cleanup up snow I use the blade on the 3Pt. They really help...

    220/440 motor question

IIRC, when I was wiring in my 3ph hoist, my electrician buddy told me it is easy. Either a) it works, b) doesn't work or c) runs backward. If b or c, switch any two wires and try again. If it still doesn't work, switch any other two wires. I think I lucked out and it worked the first time.

Backhoe worn out, pins loose, how to fix?

Are those the holes in the bucket ears? I had the same problem with the same backhoe. You'll notice the pins are longer than they need to be, so I cut off the ears, and welded on new ears made with 50-100% thicker plate. I've got pics stored somewhere of the condition of mine - similar, but...
