    B6100E 2WD Rear Rims/Tires

If you are trying to stretch your dollars you can have the bad spot repaired at a welding shop (or do it yourself). Should be a simple repair. Install a new tube and add liquid weight.

    Is My Clutch Bad?

Not sure on your L345, but on the L305 there is a lockout lever for the PTO. Look down at the top of your clutch peddle for a stop. Rotate the stop up and the clutch will go down further to release or engage the PTO.

Are Gear shift trans more dangerious ?

One important detail in pulling with any tractor is where you attach the hardware to the tractor. There is a drawbar on a tractor for a reason. And as in all things in life, allow for a reasonable margin for error. Just like when pulling your vehicle out from a stop sign into traffic. You...

    B219 loader cylinder rebuild

If you have difficulty finding parts or are not confident about rebuilding consider contacting a local hydraulic repair shop. They can get the job done and you just have to install the cyl. Check prices quotes first, but I can have them get the components much cheaper than anyplace else, and...

    Fire and Theft Insurance

"Insurance like lawyers and real estate agents are generally low-level scams but have become necessary in order to survive the modern world." Wow, what an opinionated statement. Shouldn't you also include equipment sales agents, doctors, utility companies, and shoe salespersons and teachers...

    Fueling my L3800 sucks !

My B8200 has a removable factory strainer setting directly under the fuel cap. Tanks probably haven't changed much. Maybe that strainer would fit you tank and save frustration.

Removing hardened 19mm bolt from cast iron L2800

I use ATF and acetone in a 50/50 mix and put it in a large syringe I use for cattle. Put drops exactly where you need them. Works excellent.

BH 90 Backhoe -to keep or not

Dealer sales talk is far from real values. If you doubt that go back to him and ask to trade your hoe for something of $5,000 value. He'll laugh!!! You won't get him to trade you something of $2000 value. Since it's needing brackets and they're not available any more the price is less. Send...

The l3200 or b2650 debate is over

Here's what you stated was the critical factor, "The final factoring point on my decision ended up being... the wife felt better on the b2650. So there it is." So you make a purchase based on what you and your wife need/want. Quit asking and worrying what other people think. They are not in...

    Skid Plate

MHTRAPPER, here's a sickle bar mower that would take less pump pressure. The reason a front mount mower is not a everyday available implement for tractors is the hydraulic pumps are not big enough. And I'm sure liability is another issue. Folks would soon be trimming limbs head high, and...

    Battery Replacement

"On a new install and after making everything tight and confirming works, slather the terminals with a thick paste (like peanut butter) of baking soda and water." Now this is a guaranteed method of getting mice to eat your wiring!

Counter Weight bar Welded to Rake

If you're using the rake as a rake you should be able to adjust the top link to roll the bottom of the tines to get the job done without additional weights.

    Price on box blade

I can't tell if you're buying or selling. If you're selling, start at your $200 and come down as prospective buyers look at it. If you're buying, ask the seller what the bottom dollars is and decide how bad you need it. If you want it just so you have it when you need it the price would be...

Speeco Quick Attach (should I get one) ?

cerlawson, I read your post #15 and didn't understand you to state any accusatory statements. Thought you were offering a word of caution and suggesting pictures would help identify a solution to the problem. Just a word of support. I appreciate discussions that make me think on how to do...

Little info on what to charge?

If you're digging in dirt you need to be sure you have locates on EVERY job. Many folks will tell you they know nothing is there, and encourage you to get to work. You need insurance to cover your excavation responsibility. If you ever hit a utility without locates (or not hand dig the 24"...

Why would you need a back-hoe for typical non-comercial owner.

I don't need or want a hoe on a tractor. I have a Ditch Witch R40 with a hoe on one end a trencher on the other and a 6-way backfill blade. Bought it 15 years ago for 5G, paid for itself many times over and I don't have hoe in my way when I use my tractors. Each of us justifies our decisions...

    Was accident preventable?

Alzinn, Hope you dad recovers fully and quickly. When you have/use ROPS you MUST wear a seat belt for to be effective. The seat belt keeps you in the seat so you're not crushed by the machine or, as in your situation have the tire burn the skin and the weight of the tractor cause further...

    L4200 stolen Waco, TX

I think if you take your tractor info. (serial number, model number, etc) they will have it on their computer if it's been sold or traded. When I tried to get info. on the L305 after I bought it, and curious to what year it is they had a computer list of when same models were sold over the U.S.
