    Help me decide

Good luck with your purchase! I used to have a B7510 (21hp) that is pretty much the same size as the B2601. With all the stumps you have look into getting the Woodland Mill stump grinder. I love mine. The B7510 ran it pretty good just had to go a bit slower. My LX2610 has bigger tire and about...

    Rotary Cutter

Also you might want to look at EA cutters. https://www.everythingattachments.com/60-Inch-XTreme-Duty-Rotary-Brush-Cutter-p/eta-xdbc-60-sp.htm

Quick Connect fittings for new EA Wicked grapple.

I have the plain Summit 3/8" FF couplers on my EA grapple and have never had an issue connecting or disconnecting them. That said however I store my stuff indoors and have not had the issue of sunlight heating up the lines and building pressure on the Grapple side. I can't imagine the ones you...

Got a couple of quotes today

3rd Function is needed to have hydraulics at the loader. For example you want to run a grapple or something else up front. On mine in Sept 2021 it was $835.00 to have it added. For me since I got the tractor to use a grapple it was money well spent. Rear remotes On the LX you can get 2 on the...

Got a couple of quotes today

A couple of things that I forgot to mention.... The motor on the 2501 is set back farther from the front of the tractor than the motor in the LX. The only thing with that is if you do your own maintenance you MIGHT find the LX easier to work on. My LX2610HST with 2 rear remotes, 3rd function...

Got a couple of quotes today

My suggestion is sit down and write down what projects/tasks your planning on doing with them. If most of the time is 3pt work mowing plowing and the like the manual trans might a better fit. If it's mostly loader work the HST is a better fit. Size is the next thing drive both. In my case I have...

Who's Using a Trickle Charger / Battery Tender?

Perhaps... But I'm frugal AKA Cheap and see no reason to leave it on and drawing juice all winter when it's handy to flip a light switch that runs that set of plugs and top them off overnight on the 1st of each month. To each their own but that's what works for me.

    BX2380 Hydraulic Top Link

I have one of those links on my LX but Because it's a bigger tractor I used the longer one... In your case I would mount the box blade then using your existing link. Set it at the 14.187 and 18.5" lengths and set how the box blade sets with those extremes. Then try the 16.125 & 21.75 settings...

    New, safer gas cans......

Yep like that's going to work.... All I need is a rope and a hook. A wall is just a big A*** waste of money.

    Chainsaw Mount

Only problem with that one is in the woods (at least in my overgrown woods) I can see a branch knocking off the saw and not see it because it's behind me. But that might be more a concern with me getting in to widen deer paths to make some nice walking trails around here....

    Tow hooks for the Lx2610

Yes but having a dedicated tie down point is handy for ease of connecting the chains. As well as in the case of the front hooks a chain point for pulling a stuck tractor or other items out for example. Also some folks just want to hold down how many scratches/chipped paint on the frame.....

    Tow hooks for the Lx2610

I welded a couple of weld on hooks to small pieces of 1/4" plate that I drilled to match the 3 holes on each side in front. Then welded the head of the bolts to the plate. (10.9 grade flange bolts and nuts) in back I bolted D ring tie downs to the ROPS where the backhoe subframe would be with...

    B7510 rear wheel engagement problem

I'm going to guess that one wheel is spinning. Tractors have an "open" diff and if one wheel spins all the power for that wheel goes to the spinning wheel. All that said when using the diff lock stop all motion and then after engaging it move slowly till it latches. It is a simple pin that can...

    Car Lift For Tractor Servicing

That may be. But with a 2 post you don't have to move the truck out as the posts and the cab are not in the way. On 3rd & 4th gen F bodies ( Camaro & Firebird) the easiest and best way to pull the motor is out the bottom. Have don't it both ways and it's no contest. Any axel work/swaps are much...

    Car Lift For Tractor Servicing

+1 on looking for a Certified lift even if it's just for home use. In my case the tractor is high enough I don't need to use the lift for it. But it is handy for the cars and the zero turn. One big reason for a 2 post for me is on a lot of cars it's easier and faster to drop the motor & trans...

    Car Lift For Tractor Servicing

Yes lifts are spendy compared to a few years ago. My Dannmar 10acx ( 10k asymmetrical certified lift) was $2,398 delivered in July 2015 and they tossed in the truck frame adapters for free....

    Car Lift For Tractor Servicing

I use my Dannmar asymmetrical 2 post to lift my Tiger Cat 2. I have to have the deck down and the grass flap closed but the "front" arms reach the frame right behind the back tires and the "rear" arms reach the frame right behind the caster wheels. Makes life way easier!

    Kubota Quality

Try running them with about 30psi. The secret is to get more of a contact patch. You can gauge the effective of this by one of Two ways ( this is a tip I use on the track day car). jack up a tire & put a clean sheet of paper down under the tire while on a very smooth surface and slowly lower the...
