    Hydraulic augers

Anyone using hydraulic augers? SSQA or backhoe? Best brands or brand to avoid? Tree planning attachment for stump removal? (Danuser) Like to retire the 3pt pto post hole digger and upgrade to hydraulic. Occasionally large stump removal a real plus. 16gpm hydraulic flow front 3rd function and...

Brush Grubber Attach to L2501 BH77

Good reason for concern. Pulling with the tractor tires on the backhoe is never advised. Pressure from the hydraulics can cause damage like leaky valves.

    5030su 4x4 with lockers repair

The M5030DT I had used a Detroit type locker for the front. No pedal to engage. Auto locking. Rear had a differential locking pedal. Paint mark your front axle joints to make sure u-joints are not slipping on splines.

    B2620 and 6' land plane

Use a 6’ EA land plane on my hillside driveway. At places is all my turbo 59hp, 4x4, differential lock tractor can pull. Land plane manufacturers and conditions variable. My 26hp could probably pull it down or maybe up low grade. Your tractor closer to 5’ wide and 5’ LP would be a better...

Replacement RT Stabilizer Cylinder for Woods BH-7503

A good hydraulic shop should be able to custom make an exact new replacement of that size cylinder for $400-500. Finding the shop that makes them the trick. Most shops sub out to them and add a couple hundred for customer service for handling. I would try real hard to get a very similar...

    Backhoe ripper flop

With a 24.5” blade it’s 1.5” from boom. Like the heavy tooth. Sharpen to sharp chisel point helps break break bigger roots. Easy to sharpen. Like the curved vs straight blades. Still on fence how well sharpening the front edge or teeth would add. 1” Shank still has rather sharp edges. The...

    Backhoe ripper flop

Nothing gets past you guys! I did flip the cast links because that barely hit the new KX- excavator coupler. The curves also didn’t fit new coupler like the pin-on old bucket. Found a new position and welded 3” flat stops. Most modifications were to the thumb. Easy compared to a new $2,000...

    Backhoe ripper flop

Good observation. Had the bolt out of the pin to move it to either side and flush for welding and painting. Doing some other mods on other attachments sneaking away from the honey do list.

    Backhoe ripper flop

Love the USA Attachments KX-mini-x quick attach ripper attachment on the M59 TLB. Only problem is when laying back to connect it is balanced on the curved 1” thick blade and wants to flop over. A block of wood under the quick attach solves the problem but wanting something better and always on...

    B2601 3pt left tilt

The 3pt lift arms on my B26 has two holes. Installed geared side link adjuster (Weaver Tractor) and Pat’s quick hitches (longer arm length) gives easy and good amount of adjustment for grade work. Did require a little bit of fabrication.

Having fun pulling stumps with Backhoe and ripper tooth...

The boom is the first, usually curved, attached to the tractor section of the backhoe. Not the dipper, not the thumb. Longer might work for an excavator. Good luck.

Having fun pulling stumps with Backhoe and ripper tooth...

Might want to check your dimensions if you don’t want a longer ripper to hit your boom. Welded on shackle mounts to tripod the ripper up when off the backhoe so it doesn’t flop on its side. Also handy to attach rigging. Dealing with tree there is always pulling and tugging.

    L48 TLB oil cooler hoses

Kubota don’t make the hose material. Those are low pressure hoses going to the cooler. A good hydraulic shop could made as good or better hoses much cheaper. Blessed with great hydraulic shop that supplies the area government, fabrication and high tech. Automation robot lines get periodic...

B26TLB 3PH Lower Link Pin install

You figured right. I used high spring pressure (black) lynch pins down there to prevent brush unlatching. Adding gearbox leveler, pin stabilizers and Pat’s quick hitch sure helped with the little B26 3pt hitch. Particularly for any grade work. Per user manual and own experience found out...

    B26 TLB hydraulic thumb (Australia)

While the Kubota tractors are made in Japan, the loaders and backhoes are made in USA or Canada for their tractors. Imagine the same world wide. Here the stick has weldments for the thumb weather you order one or not. Yours might not. If available I would get the quick attach option especially...
