I went through this when I got my L35, (same mechanism). I don’t think the the backhoe ever came off. I got it at 10 years old. Fought it tooth and nail finally got them free took them all apart sanded them and lubed them and they have been smooth as butter since.
Maybe I have a air leak then. I have replaced suction hoses but do hear the squeak while shifting in occasion. I wrote it off as normal a long time ago.
I think moderators that post PMs are not suited for the job. Real drama queen stuff there wolfman. I enjoy your technical posts but you need to leave the moderator stuff private or you loose the respect you have earned with the former.
I still have some original on my 98. I only use it for hobby work around my lot. If I were to use it for my livelihood I would replace them to prevent downtime.
they are all at that age where if they haven’t gone they are going to soon. My 98 still has some originals left the rubber coating is broken down due to age and the wire is showing through, and that even rusted. That is the top one on the FEL stack of hoses I look at it in amazement all the time...
